You made me realize that I'm too strict with my perfection on my line art! You spoke perfectly about how it seems to lose some personality when it's too rigid and perfect. I think that what's I'm missing!
I never noticed it till you described it but i love how you do the inner color lines versus the black outer line, it's so funky and really does add a lot! 🌟🌟
I like how you show here the ”messy parts” of art, like going back and forth and revising and starting over and all that. It’s really part of the process and often artists don’t like to admit it happens. 😊 I know that feeling about lines, I also have the tendency to get too particular about them and right now I’m trying to let loose and not mind the shakiness. ❤
The hue jitter tip is so cool!! And it’s something i immediately noticed in the quality of the green in the juice box when you showed the finished product in the beginning. This makes me excited to get back into procreate!
Thank you for sharing with us. I love to see an artist's process and learn more about procreate. Coloring the interior lines just makes this piece so special. Such a great concept.
I love that you showed your process with all the updates/changes and your thought process - makes me happy it’s not just me who’s constantly changing things with a piece 😅
Love your drawing videos, great start to the new year😁 and would love to see you color in the dragon sketch for the Lunar New Year, but the tangent from the juice box to the paint leg hurt my soul🥲Also a Procreate tip I learned a while back is to switch the Transformation interpolation setting (second from the bottom right) to Bicubic instead of Bilinear, it keeps your sketches from getting all fuzzy when you scale them up or down.
I LOVE that you leave all the “undo” clicks in the video because sometimes I feel like I must just be sooo bad. But seeing that it’s normal for everyone makes me feel less scared 🥲
I love your advice about drawing the lineart versus tracing our original image~ I'm going to apply that mentality to my next piece and see if it helps :)
Thank you for sharing your process! I liked seeing which brushes you use. Did you know you can see your canvas zoomed out using the reference function? Sometimes I think it's helpful to have it in the corner while I'm working zoomed in :)
oh my!!! this was so fun to watch because like lmao we had so many similar parts of our workflows!!! Hue slider, hue dynamics added to paint brushes (mine is usually at 4% and I set it a bit on lightness and saturation too hehe), trying to get "wobblier" lines, I CAN'T REMEMBER HTE OTHER STUFF but like haha!! Also so cosy to watch, had this on while drawing and it was so nice!!
i swear monoline was like a default procreate brush but i cant find it anymore ! one of my faves for linework tattoos and just in general bc my hands arent super steady
Fantastic video! Thank you for sharing your fabulous insights. Concerning the monoline brush my HoneyDarko - so that I don’t start obsessing about needing to find it 😅 - how different is it from the built in monoline brush that comes with Procreate? Thank you for your time and have a great day!
Your design is super cute, I love the periwinkle-ish blue you used especially. I was wondering, how do you print your stickers? Also if you haven't discussed already, how long did it take you to get monetized on youtube? I just got laid off of my job, I've been thinking for awhile about doing youtube vids, I love drawing on procreate, been making art for years, but only just started about 1 year ago actually posting it on instagram....but I'm scared it's too risky to do youtube and also patreon type of stuff, like I'm worried I won't be able to survive if I invest in this, so I'm wondering if it's worth the risk, of if I just need to find another boring job to do, to survive :/
he's an adorable lil guy!! gutted I have a tight couple of months ahead so had to temporarily cancel my patreon subscription to you, but I will be back 😎 I love your work so so much
no, it shouldn't matter! if you change the dpi to 300 after starting the piece, it should automatically adjust the width and height to accommodate all the extra pixels! i also tend to work on any "for print" pieces in inches as opposed to pixels. so, for simplicity's sake, think about how big you want your stickers to be, work on a canvas that's an inch wider & taller than that, and make sure you're in 300 dpi for the resolution!!
In my procreate, the monoline brush is included in the calligraphy set, so it must have come directly with procreate. Maybe you deleted it accidentally.
This is actually a separate monoline brush from an account called HoneyDarko, which I can’t find online anymore…but yes!! There is one that comes with Procreate!
its so funny that you kept stopping and erasing and each time you drew it, it looked great lol but your always your own worse critic! this makes me feel better about how many times I redraw something too haha
the hue tip got me so excited to draw
as i was drawing, i edited my brush settings lolllllll
You made me realize that I'm too strict with my perfection on my line art! You spoke perfectly about how it seems to lose some personality when it's too rigid and perfect. I think that what's I'm missing!
im brand new to procreate and this......this is how i learned about alpha lock..........a whole new world has opened itself 2 me
I never noticed it till you described it but i love how you do the inner color lines versus the black outer line, it's so funky and really does add a lot! 🌟🌟

4:38 this tip has me excited to revisit the line art for some of my sketches
The hue jitter tip has truly blown my mind
Your art videos are always my fave. I was in the process of (re)binding off a sock (don't ask!), so it was perfect timing to keep me focused.
Thank you for sharing with us. I love to see an artist's process and learn more about procreate. Coloring the interior lines just makes this piece so special. Such a great concept.

This was so fun! I have to say the music choices were excellent I was vibing
THANKS really cracked into my louie zong collection for this one
I love that you showed your process with all the updates/changes and your thought process - makes me happy it’s not just me who’s constantly changing things with a piece 😅
The term for coloring parts of your line art is "color hold." Hope that helps!
ohhh amazing! thank you!
Watching this while crocheting silly lil guy is really cute 🩵
Always love the videos where we get to witness your creative process. This lil guy is the bees knees 🤩🧃
Great tip about the redrawing vs tracing! I LOVE this silly little guy, cute idea 🥰

super cute drawing and helpful video 💖 also wanted to add that I'm pretty sure the monoline brush is a default procreate brush!!
this particular one i did download from somewhere else years ago, BUT procreate does indeed have a mono line brush in its standard brushes !
Missed a lot watching you videos! Love you voice and the vibe that you show while working ♡♡♡
Hi use found your videos. Love the hue jitter thing. Will give that a go. I’ve got iPad mini 6 and love using procreate on it.
I just randomly found your vid, I love the way you design stickers, and I like the vibes as well.
My Narinder Pencil even at max size is so much smaller than that and it looks fuzzy... I'm on the same document settings too...
go into your brush settings! you can increase the maximum size limit of any brush :D
@@cheyennebartonohh that’s such an awesome tip!! What did you put your max size for the narinder pencil to? Mine looks kind of blurry :\ thank you!!!
THE HUE JITTER MY JAW DROPPED
Just stumbled upon your video and wow! I love your style, your voice, everything!
Thank you for sharing your process! I liked seeing which brushes you use. Did you know you can see your canvas zoomed out using the reference function? Sometimes I think it's helpful to have it in the corner while I'm working zoomed in :)
oooo smart!!! thank you for the tip!

25:25 when i have too many layers that i want to duplicate i hide the background layer (transparent) then go to copy canvas then paste.
I wanna see how the sticker turned out!! Do you print it yourself?
i swear monoline was like a default procreate brush but i cant find it anymore ! one of my faves for linework tattoos and just in general bc my hands arent super steady

Fantastic video! Thank you for sharing your fabulous insights. Concerning the monoline brush my HoneyDarko - so that I don’t start obsessing about needing to find it 😅 - how different is it from the built in monoline brush that comes with Procreate? Thank you for your time and have a great day!
Hello :) I'm an illustrator too and I really like your channel, I remember wanting to do my own a lot ago. Hugs!
Turned on the notification bell 🔔 I love your art and I don’t want to miss any videos!! Thanks for doing what you do
monoline brush is a procreate standard :)
Your design is super cute, I love the periwinkle-ish blue you used especially. I was wondering, how do you print your stickers? Hiii🎉 I love your content! How do you add your sketch onto your iPad? I sketch on a sketch notebook
It's artistic!
I would like to know the brush settings you used for the coloring if you could...!!
I love this! we should totally connect!
he's an adorable lil guy!! gutted I have a tight couple of months ahead so had to temporarily cancel my patreon subscription to you, but I will be back 😎 I love your work so so much
I didnt know u can do that hue jitter thing TT
What is the name of this pastel color, again? Please❤
question- does it matter about the w and the h when you change the DPI to 300? i would love to make my own stickers but new to this :>
no, it shouldn't matter! if you change the dpi to 300 after starting the piece, it should automatically adjust the width and height to accommodate all the extra pixels! i also tend to work on any "for print" pieces in inches as opposed to pixels.

The CEO of your brain: "IT NEEDS TO BE CUTER! FIX IT!"
"k, I added "lil""
CEO: "Very nice."
