didnt u just remove the shoulder from your push ups? if you arent feeling shoulder pain, then maybe you just isolated a little bit more the triceps and chest, but the cost is that you will no longer have shoulder gains from push ups

I mean that's the case for every single exercise there is. Form is literally everything. If you have bad form, you're going to hurt yourself and may even cause physical deformity, depending on how bad it is.
I have watched countless of videos on how to do proper pushups but trust me this right here is an eye opener. He explains so well including some smaller details like i have to say this video is really underrated.
Wow I thought I was doing push-ups right this whole time. I can usually do 30-35 push-ups regularly without a break but after trying this I struggle to get even 5. I feel more engagement in the chest and shoulders
That's the problem. People overlook and joke about him making it too complicated, but pushups aren't simple just like a pull isn't either. A bad execution can cause lesions or make it inefficient, or too easy for you guys who claim doing a thousand reps lol.

That’s why I do push ups using and clenched fist , wrist will always be in a strong position . I never do flat palms
