Flying Delta One Business class Los Angeles to New York
Come and experience Delta One Business class with me on one of its flagship routes between New York and Los Angeles.
Delta operate this route mainly with Boeing 767's but also feature Boeing 777's , Airbus A330's and Boeing 757's on the route.
All of the aircraft they operate on this route have flat bed services.
This route is a real revenue maker for airlines with high demand for business class, so airlines do compete with each other on who can offer the best production.
Delta, United, American and Jetblue all have flat beds on this route with added value service.
Over the service and flight was great. I enjoyed quick almost private check in at LAX, priority security screening at LAX, lounge access, priority boarding and some good in flight food.

An awesome video as usual! Just one tip from a fellow trip reporter: if your GoPro or action camera has any built-in or digital stabilizer, I recommend using it!

Agree with Robertk, super high quality trip report as usual, but the music detracts from the video. I don't think NO music is the way to go, but maybe music that is lower key and 'chill'. I usually watch your videos/trip reports later at night to relax and having super bassy EDM is not the most relaxing thing to listen to.
I beg to differ, I think the music adds to the video, its one of the things I liked about your videos when I discovered your channel. The chilled style definitely suits your vids

Timely- I am flying from LAX to PDX on Saturday, and will be at the Delta Lounge at LAX T2 as well! Catering at the LAX Delta Lounge does indeed leave much to be desired- the Delta Lounges at PDX and DFW both have superior catering. Now, about the music selection for this video, though... erm... great video otherwise!
Thanks Peter, yes the music won't be returning, this was one of the last videos I made with music, and now I will be looking more at airport/airplane sounds or voiceover with light background music moving forward.

I had got up really early, so I was really hungry, a great serving for me at that time, just what I needed.
The flight time was around 5 hours on this one, glad you enjoyed it.
As always, James, another excellent presentation! The ATC chatter adds to it. 👍🏻. I live in L.A. the only carrier on the transcons that offers a “true First Class “ is American Airlines (my preferred carrier). 1-1 on each side of the aisle. The competition on this route (UA, DL) only offer Business Class, Premium Economy, Economy. The 3 are heavy competitors at LAX. The DL lounge certainly was nothing special as evidenced by your footage. Keep up your excellent work!

I think Jetblue entering the market a few years back with flat beds at $599 one way made a great difference in bringing the cost's down.

I think Delta is very good. That (effectively) two course breakfast looked great, if I ate that I wouldn't need anything more for at least 8 hours Lol.

Ahhh the ballast point sculpin and then Brookyln (not great, but better than the average)
