Nice video. Though I still can't beat her. I like these sort of games, but sadly even with the NPC helping me it doesn't do much. Closest I got is down to 20% health.
Just dont summon that prick, he fucks the timing up, go in solo, and wait for her 2 strikes in the first fase, and wait for her summons and her 3rd strikes then attack
I had the same issue. I probably faced her 40-50x’s if not more. The key is to learn/recognize her patterns then capitalize on the openings. Either time your parry or just doge her swipes with the sword in the main phase. Stay close to her to avoid the long range attacks. The second phase is the most challenging part, but if you stay patient and wait for her to stun herself it becomes a lot easier. I had no more potions left, in the umbral with a sliver of health left when I finally got her. Stay with it, you’ll get it.
What platform was the refund on? I tried a refund once in my Xbox and they declined. Claimed there was significant play time already and I'm not eligible.
It’s all about learning the patterns, timing, waiting for the opening and then attacking. It’s definitely a test of patience. I am terrible at these type of games, but I’m determined to get through one. I just beat this fight after probably 40-50 tries.
So I literally grinded all for 3 days and got my guy up to level 35. I also realized there is a prayer left of the gate that gives you a guy that helps. I just beat her after about 20 attempts and it felt great. One thing I can say is, I never wanted to throw my controller through my TV more than the last couple of days.😂
I have chosen to play Soulslike games because From Software is making shit in its games, completed Thymesia, Steelrising, Nioh 1,2, Mortal Shell then came to LOTF2, and I would say HOLY SHIT, the same way of From Software trash, sorry I'm exiting this game.
I just fought her for the first time last night. I (along with a lot of my friends) are wrapping up other games and have been keeping an eye on the patches and stuff before jumping in.

This is the point I refunded the game. When the second boss is harder than some mid/late games souls bosses then it's lost me.

I cant beat her lol. Kinda of a bumper because I like soulslike and it already has me not wanting to even try anymore. lol
Souls / Like are always about long term satisfaction
How is she not hitting you gotta be a bug there I've tried that so many times and die in 2 hits
It's just timing bud

This game is rough. The controls are sloppy on PS5
I feel you, at least they constantly parch the game on pc, but still frame drops
Thank you. Pretty new to Soulslike games so this was very helpful.
🙏

If you decide to come back it's not as hard as mortal shell even I would say
@@Cainfoe Mortal Shell is hard until you get its mechanics, then it will mostly be easy.
Why we still talking about the first boss a week in
