The show is so dumb and poorly written, with all the characters acting like immature children, it’s hard tell what’s an intake and what isn’t.
The nonsense blends in perfectly with the other nonsense.

@@thebendavisLike 'huge star trek fans' said about TNG and Voyager and DS9 and Enterprise when they first came out. I saw it, I was there, 'fans' were awful to Stewart and Mulgrew in particular. There were many death threats. I liked them all and I still do. They're great shows. TNG was my fav in the 90s, now it's a tie with Discovery. Maybe you'll get it in 10 or 20 years like all the other ones, I hope. And yes I already know all the things that could be improved, but at least the neurodivergent characters aren't alt-right in real life, so it makes up for a lot of the flaws for me

That happens to some women when they get pregnant (as the actress did). They bloat up during pregnancy (which doesn't always happen but is still pretty normal), and then just kinda... stay like that afterwards. They lose their pregnancy belly, but stay all around bigger. It just happens sometimes. No need to rag on them for it.
Another interesting one is that pregnancy almost always partially destroys their bladders. It's super hard on a woman's body to rapidly grow a 5 to 10 pound parasite that sucks the life out of them. Uterian Replicators (artificial wombs) are slowly being developed (first for use in animal cloning, then in agriculture, then in humans), and they can't come soon enough IMO.

    • @mazack00

@@jasonwalker9471 She announced pregnancy in 2021 after the filming of season 4 (summer 2021) and gave birth in 2022 which means that during filming she was at most about a month pregnant. She's even bigger for the filming of season 5. Your statement is invalid. She just got fat.
