I just cannot imagine these actors spending any amount of time on this bridge and not goofing around like this. This recreation of the bridge is like visiting a house you grew up in as a kid but haven't been to in 30 years.
Weirder still, the same house with all the same furniture and all the kids you grew up with showing up, all grown and grey. Except for Tasha. Because she died. And then died again.
I love that there are hardly any words spoken in this clip and yet you can feel and see so much between all of the characters. That shows just how great the chemistry is between these guys.
This scene opened my eyes (figuratively) to just how much black was in the rest of the season - it was bizarre to find a room decently lit, if low powered.
She had actually kissed him with a beard before Insurrection -- she kissed Thomas Riker. Technically a different person at that point but as far as her lips know it's the same guy.
Did... did you put 3 outtakes into 1 scene? Or was Worf supposed to fall asleep in the chair? I want to be sure because I don't know this series very well.
Are there three of them? Is Beverly's grasping at the controls one of them, or is that a dramatic reaction to him walking in? Troi and Riker acting like Antedians and Beverly and Jack stepping on each other's lines I got, but the beginning? I don't know.
@@sarahberkner there us a difference between editing seamlessly and the clip fitting - he edits them seamlessly so it flows nicely but you can always tell what is fromthe gag reel as it doesn't fit the scene. These fit.
So, Doctor, Worf was seriously injured; could you take a look at that...? No? Just let him sleep it off... RPG rules in effect or something? At least, Father and Son have something to talk about- that mom knows nothing about. You wouldn't understand- you were never assimilated, MOM
I was going to say hopefully he's not sleeping on a concussion, but actually he's Klingon, so who knows if that's the same for them? And I don't think he hit his head anyway and Klingons are pretty indestructible.
S3 was actually watchable. I’ve watched the RLM reviews of the first two seasons and largely agree with their criticisms and of ST:Disco but S3 of Picard was as close of a return to classic TNG as it’s going to get.
@@scottnahler4027That's why I hated it. Why do we need to return to TNG? It had 7 seasons, 4 movies and 3 spinoffs. Let the show rest, for cryin' out loud.
I didn’t dislike the show because it had a completely different tone to TNG; that’s fine if the writing is good. The real problem was simply godawful writing. Season 3 was worlds better but still poorly written in my opinion. Just on its own merits as a drama, Picard sucked. Sorry.
@@swishfish8858 Because Nemesis wasn't very good. It's nice for them to have a better sendoff. instead of people pretending All Good Things was the last we saw of them.

Wesley: "What? HE got an allowance?!"
Well, she and Jack were on the fringes of Federation where he may actually need money; Wes was raised within Federation borders...
Was this a DOUBLE intake? Nice.
Three I think
@@thribs Worf snores in the original episode.
@@Jogwheel Two with Riker and then the Crusher one
@@thribs ... what's the second Riker one though? I'm missing it.
The moment Worf sat down I was like "PLEASE HAVE HIM SNORING!" Thank you good sir for including it.
That part wasn’t an intake, that was on the episode.
Worf snoring is like a blooper left in 😅😂
I love that there are hardly any words spoken in this clip and yet you can feel and see so much between all of the characters. That shows just how great the chemistry is between these guys.
I thought Geordi and Data were going next for a minute there
and they should have.
Based on the thumbnail I thought Data and Geordi were going to kiss. Ngl I'm a little disappointed.
(EDIT: Jordie?? Really??)
Same haha
Or Worf and Picard.
"Do you think we should kiss, Commodore?" "Later, Data."
go to AO3, I'm sure you can find something there
* Geordi
Geordi did a good job restoring the Enterprise-D, except he should have repaired the lights on the bridge so that they could reach full illumination.
Maybe the Federation passed a power-saving ordinance. It seems that all post-Voyager ships have real lighting problems.
_In the future, only energy saving LEDs exist_

So, she's finally used to kissing him with a beard!
She had actually kissed him with a beard before Insurrection -- she kissed Thomas Riker. Technically a different person at that point but as far as her lips know it's the same guy.
@@DarkGob It was more than just that. There were several onscreen kisses. Someone made a supercut of them. ruclips.net/video/gK_WlpNq5Qo/видео.html
@@DarkGob See the episode Menage-a-Troi.
I love how, because of covid filming and all that, we actually see Worf exit the turbolift _TWICE_
Yeah they only had filming time for like 2-3 days on that set.
He's tired like two Worfs.
Did... did you put 3 outtakes into 1 scene? Or was Worf supposed to fall asleep in the chair? I want to be sure because I don't know this series very well.
he was. That happened in this scene
I don't know if it was scripted or improv...but yes, Worf snorzzzzzzz
Oh no, the snoring was in the actual episode, lol.
It's part of the episode. The best thing in the whole series imho. Brilliant comedy. And adorable.
It was definitly in the episode, plus Worf had been shot by a borg weapon, so, his Klingon auto-repair systems engaged... :P
Beverly Crusher ending his gold-pressed Latium allowance. Damn that would kill a Furangi kid right there.
I can hear Nog whining, "Aww, but Father!"
Still looks like he got a job via nepotism. 😺
* Ferengi
What does Gates say to Ed at the end? I couldn't understand it.
"No allowance! You are so grounded."
You know, Mom stuff.
Deanna going all amphibious again I see, those pesky entrons!
A double!
Given that photo that I know about "Geordi" and "Data" it's not surprising, really. :P
Love the soundtrack here. Too bad it isn't on the official release!
Do I need to watch this show?
Season 3 is fun for the nostalgia
@@ineedausernamenow999 Cuz it's secretly TNG Season 8 lol
What is Beverly saying at the end? Something about allowance, and, what?
No allowance. You're so grounded.
After the kiss Riker says to Troi, "Did you have the space tuna for lunch?"
No, he had the Special. ;)
Oh! I was hoping to see the real reason Geordi was happy to have Data back lol
Wrof sleeping maybe funny but doesn't make much sense since he's the youngest out of all of them since klingons have longer lifespans.
I believe he hadn't slept at all in Season 3 prior to this (in-universe)
He grew-up downwind of Chernobyl… it takes a toll.
Who's the young man with all of the facial scars?
2 months late, but that's Crusher's second son, born after the series ended.
lmao i didn't see that this was an intake...
STAR TREK: RETURN OF THE JEDI
MASTERWORK!!!! Gates is one of the funniest people in existence.
I was really hoping for a fart blooper.

Strange part is how those bits fit so well into the scenes - tells you how bad the writing has become 😂
Ryan's edits usually fit well, so no that doesn't prove anything.

:)
