Those directions don’t match the picture at all using the back of loop is not like what is being shown!!

Why did my strap turn out a little curved? What did I do wrong?

I think it might have been because the foundation chain was tighter than the single crochets above so it turned out curved.

I would say you missed a stitch or two or tension changed that’s what happens to me! Hate when it happens! I have frogged too many because of it.
