Just got this cooler, I love the dam thing, it's so worth it!!!
Just paid $98 for the 77 at our Walmart. Thought it was priced wrong but it had 77 on the receipt. There website said it was $154 and the shelf UPC said $125. Definitely got a deal.
Damn, no doubt. The 55 is $97 and the 77 is about $150. You're stoked!!
Same here $92.00 today
I love these coolers. I have the 77 and 28. Well worth the money and not as heavy as other brands
I bought the 55 because it holds what I need and it's not too hard to carry singlehanded. While it doesn't perform as well as my friends' Orca or Yeti, those two are 3 and 4 times the price of my Lifetime without performing 3 or 4 times better. Also, the Lifetime's latches are the best in the industry, with the possible exception of Pelican's. Good review, sir.
I've actually been looking at those the past few weeks. Planned on taking it to paintball events for the buds. Might consider it
You have got very good thing in this video.
I gave you a thumbs up a terrific by I've had nothing but good reports for him bags of ice for days jugs of ice maybe week or more great ice chest to take hunting you can put a whole carcass in it
Yeti's are over rated.
I bought an rtic 65 a few years ago they had a sale around thanksgiving for 175$ had to do it for the price it’s a beast
Use good water bottles to freeze water and put it in the cooler and as they thaw out you can now drink it and you do not have a mess in the cooler
Very informative. Tx sir
Most welcome
EXACTLY!! My top priority was...MADENAMERICA!! I did the same research, took me a few weeks, and it mind boggling to say the least. Then I happened upon one test showing coolers, prices, where it was made, etc etc etc, and the LIFETIME sold me. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I could only find it through WALMART. In today's climate of not buying anything MADENCHINA, WALMART is one of the biggest lap dogs of China today. I rarely buy anything from WALMART only in situations like this. This cooler dollar for dollar beats all the $200.00+ dollar coolers out there because I refuse to pay that kind of money for a cooler. I have also Insulated two old IGLOO coolers with spray foam in the lid, and in the body of the cooler, plus I installed one inch thick wall board insulation that has aluminum tape on one side. Cut them to size, sealed with silicone, and aluminum tape. That cooler last four days of normal open and close camping use. No special prepping, no dry ice which evaporates very fast, just frozen bottles of drinking water, or frozen blocks of ice I freeze at home small enough that it doesn't take up space. Love this cooler!!
No doubt. This is the first thing I've bought from wally world for about 4 years.
I didn’t even know they made a 77 I found the 55 and I was able to keep it cold for six days five days it was colder but the 60 the stuff that came out was still way colder than had it been room temperature so the thing did good I didn’t use ice Lucis I used blue ice I put it all on the bottom and I froze 16 ounce bottles of water in line the sides with that. I am moving across from Calais Northern California to South Texas so that’s a 5 Day Dr. and I got home and I didn’t even have to empty the cooler till the next day and that’s when I emptied it six day and like I say things were cold enough to enjoy it right into the fridge nothing spoiled it was wonderful I never used any ice just froze things to put in it and my frozen water was thought but ice cold
I filled mine up with Foam Sealant and it's amazing 👌💯
IV been searching for videos of someone cutting in half these lifetime models or filling with more foam ,( I need to find locations where to put foam at?????? )
Can you help I have 77
Great video! We’re considering getting a 55 qt this Friday. What are your thoughts, opinions a year later? Will it keep ice and food cold for 5 days? ~ Kat
5 days might be pushing it. Depends how hot it is. If you pre freeze the cooler. before putting ice in it and you cover it with blankets where your camping you might just pull it off.
@@SurvivalSavvvy Awesome! Thanks for the response!
I've had my 55qt for 3 years now and it does awesome. Are family did a 9 day camping trip to Yellowstone two years ago and I never bought ice for it. Keep it shaded and dont open the lid ever 2 seconds and ice last a long time in it. I just bought the new updated 77qt today. 8/1/21
How is your 77 a year later? Considering buying this . My main use is for a backyard BBQ mainly, reunions, etc so really just need ice retention for a weekend max.
still looks brand new with some scrapes on it. Keeps ice like a champ.
I paid $98 for the lifetime 55qt @ Walmart. The 77qt was $128
sigh not at my walmart must be different depending where you live. That is one awesome of a deal
No wheels, no go...But it does look well made. USA for many things, except cars :-)
The heck you talking about USA cars are light years better than they used to be
I don't see tie down points that would allow access to cooler. I'm interested in the 55 but assume they're about the same.
I do not tie mine down being it is heavy enough when loaded. You could always use a ratchet strap on it.
But it's access to open lid when tied down that I'm after.. oh well.
@@extremeduty2570 you can always put your tie downs through the door handles
Yeti dont have wheels ozark you cam buy wheels
