Another thing I’m surprised they didn’t mention is that Jake Bates has a way better record kicking in domes so this is actually perfect
Dj Reader, the revamped cb room and Jake Bates is really going to do wonders for the 2024-25 Super Bowl Champion Lions.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂😂🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
@@danielalfano2424 YAWN….
Promised land here we come. One pride nation let’s go!
All hail Master Bates!!!
We definitely welcomed Jake. However we made it deep in the playoffs with a crappy secondary. Now we have depth and talent on every position. We will get more sacks.
We? what position do you play? :)
Since when did it become an issue with say we as a long time sports franchise fan?!?
@@arthurfonzarelli9828I play your mom. Multiple positions. She's the OG in team play.
His backdrop looks like a bathroom not an office
RIGHT! A mostly see through glass wall, three footballs and a filing cabinet. Yep! Looks like a bathroom to me...
Looks like my old office every room was glass. The “joke” was it keeps you from getting into trouble with your spouse.
First thing I thought 😂
Who cares he has a dream job he most likely enjoys if he is a number cruncher and NFL fan. Find something else to hate on eh?
@@lionized_wingnut nobody here is hating on him, it’s called an observation. His office looks like a bathroom, that was all anyone here is saying. I’m baffled that someone would think that by commenting on a background, means they hate someone.
Hahahaha they ain’t turning down the blitz’s. This D Line got better and secondary. Blitz success should go up.
Only reason they we were blitzing so much iss because they weren’t getting pressure on the qb, and our secondary was getting killed
LIONS 72 SACKS
Detroit Vs Everybody
Could've got into the Super Bowl last year via a kicker. But going for it on 4th down instead of kicking a FG was a choice.
Or was Josh Reynolds dropping 2 critical passes in his hands a choice?
@@JMichael-xc7uuthey always think it’s going to be an automatic make when the kicking game was abysmal for us
@@righteousisthelord180 I liked Prater but he wasn't exactly performing well when they let him go. We were pretty spoiled with Legatron before that.
Maybe not letting a sure interception bounce off your face for a TD would help too.
@@JMichael-xc7uu Yup. The Lions kicker had never made a kick outdoors longer than the ones they would've attempted and only once in his career period had made one longer. So do you go with a top 3 offense to gain 3 yards who up until that point had no problem moving the ball or ask a kicker to do something he had never done before? Campbell wisely chose the former but unfortunately Josh Reynolds dropped 2 would be 1st downs that were right in his hands.
GO LIONS!!!
"Tone down the blitz rate"?
F-No! We just got 2 proven starters & a nice rookie at corner. Blitz when you Want To because now we can cover.
Guy looks like Aaron rodgers
“It’s still telling to hear” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
UFL, not USFL. Com'on Rich!!!
Does Warren Sharp know he's on video? I've seen hostage videos with more screen presence.
😂
Go lions hater
Jake bates won’t ever get to kick when Dan Cambell always unapologetically goes for it.
People stay forgetting the Lions had the worst passing defense in football ig. Talking super bowls lol
People stay forgetting we addressed the secondary in free agency and in the draft ig. Talking superbowls, 100%
@@nicksnyder1723 lions drafted two slot corners a year after drafting Brian branch, a slot corner. And sign Jamal dean who’s average at best. Let’s not also act like players make the scheme. Coaching was abysmal for the defensive backs
Jamal Dean? Slot corners? Yea you have no idea what you're talking about
@@sith_holocron *carlton Davis same difference ik it was a former Buc corner. But yeah good luck with three undersized corners in branch Arnold and rakestraw whom all run slot
@kreed4480 Just stop dude. You're outta yer league....😂
7/12 from 50 plus is kinda meh
Only one miss indoors
Brad Holmes picked up the right pieces one year too late. They peaked in 2023.
Lolz it’s funny when people make stupid comments with no logical reasoning behind them
L take, explain how did they peak? Top 3 Youngest roster peaked? Lmao L take indeed
What a poor attitude you have there my friend, however, you might feel better knowing there is ample reason to believe that the lions actually improved their roster during the off season by addressing their weaknesses in FA & the draft while adding better coaching along the Dline. Lions have injured players coming back healthy that didn't play last year. Houston, Moseley to name a few. They signed a two year agreement with an accurate kicker who has made field goals on the reg from 60+ to compete @ camp ( pssst - Fields goals were a weakness last year and might have cost them games). Nobody knows how the new kickoff rules are going to change things but the Lions are stacked with speedy, agile players. As a matter of fact I'm predicting the players the Lions cut before the season to get down to the league number will be quickly snapped up by other teams as starters. Signed their core players to long term contracts and have a healthy cap for the next few years. They were 30 minutes away from the Super Bowl with THAT secondary.
Trust me, they haven't "peaked" just yet. I feel pretty damn good about the team direction and the organization right now. I can't think of any evidence they peaked last year.
