Jameson Williams is going to go beast mode this season.
Lions are loaded. Unbelievable turnaround for this franchise.
As a Michigander I'm still baffled what they've done in just 3 years with the worst franchise in North American sports. Now they're as good of an organization as any in the NFL. Absolutely astounding what the leadership has done. Especially when u add in what they were left with. Bob Quinn built one of the worst rosters you'll ever see.
@@joshlewis575 win consistently B4 you get exited,, it's yr 1...of winning.. staying healthy and losing players and coaches.when you start...to win then you'll know how good you are
Actually have a tough schedule for once 😂
@@ManuelCorrea-jr3dsThey had major injuries the entire season to key players and still won the division, two playoff games and reached the NFC title game......they have 2 coaches on their staff that were interviewed for a head coaching job, a top candidate chose to stay with the organization.
22-8 over the last 30 games
The lions beat themselves in the NFC championship.. the experience really showed, and San Francisco capitalized on that but the lions won't make that mistake again💥
If Campbell keeps going for it, instead of taking the points or field position, Lions will be at a disadvantage again.
@@saint6563the same aggressive mindset that got them there? I would never agree with this. People forget that Dan was always like this and it no one questioned it when it worked but now that it didn’t work “oh lost cuz their coach doesn’t know situational football”.

Dan Campbell choked
@@saint6563 he coaches too much with emotion
That's a weirdly negative way to say the Lions are legit SuperBowl contenders. Nice for ESPN to find new ways to throw shade at the Lions.
the lions one true weakness was getting air striked by deep passes that our CB could not cover we got 2 great ones in the draft and 2 amazing ones in FA even if we dont become a super defence even like top 15 would have been so deadly last year
Every Lions game I watched… I was terrified of deep passes. I have zero confidence in them covering anything deep, otherwise the team was elite
@@Struhsieall the sutton stuff aside, watching people simply run straight and torch him was mildly irritating.
Top 10 this season
I think we dont necessarily need a top 5 defense. If our offense continues to be one of the best in the league with our league best O-line,, and we have a top 12 or top 10 defense, we will be TOUGH to beat.
Lions are Super Bowl bound. I can FEEL it.
Superbowl is in New Orleans this season, both Campbell and Goff know all about it💯 Go Lions🦁🔥

MCDC is soon to be the best HC in the nfl. One Pride.
I really hope the Lions get to the Super Bowl this year and win.
Texan and lion Super Bowl will be wild.
They are my pick
As good as the Lions were, their one weakness was lack of tackling, especially on deep plays. They eventually got caught by it, but they were a year ahead of schedule in their build. They weren’t even supposed to be there yet, we thought they’d win the division and a playoff game, not be on the doorstep of the Super Bowl! As it stands, they overhauled their secondary and IDL, and they are going to be the class of the league!
Funny how so many people comment on Campbell going for it, but fail to mention the fumble and the dropped passes.
If Jamo steps into and surpasses Josh Reynolds role, then we'll have a consistent deep threat to complete this offense. In a word, dangerous!
It takes more. Very excited for the 2024 season!
Great show you 4!!
The Lions and Packers will rule the NFC in 2024. Dont be surprised if one of these teams wins it all
Our secondary has doubled in talent. We definitely improved. See y'all again in the NFC championship
I feel like this team could be as good as the 2001 rams that year they matched the offense with the defense and went 14-2 I think Detroit can win 13 games
Good thing we got sum corners let’s start off strong next season
I think it’s going to be tough to take the lions down
The lions have more depth. Possible long 18 week season. Health, injuries, experience might be the biggest tangibles.
Ben, Dan, Brad are all solid.
12 games are expected in the tough NFC North.
Veteran Pass Rusher Emmanuel Ogbah is only 30 years old. The Lions should take a flyer on him. If he fits a one year deal should work. This move could help the Lions get into the Super Bowl
Training, diets & championship! Let's go
Go Lions!!!!
Glenn loves man coverage with everyone's back to the running quarterbacks. That's exactly what the Lions have been running last 3 years.
You are right about that, that's why they struggle against quarterbacks that can run
YES, it’s SB dub or nothing. Period. We’re so deep and our offense is going to be so much more lethal this year with a much improved defense. It’s a wrap folks, 13+ regular season wins
On Madden 🤫🤭..win consistently first...

@ManuelCorrea-jr3ds You would have said the same thing about the Steelers in 1973. That's where the Lions are right now.
Lions eventually have to run a 3-2-6 at the end of games when it counts. Detroit now has the talent in the backfield to do so.

Mina Kimes is Her. Does her homework. Sees the game better than most.
Lions Defensive Coordinator Aaron Glenn is a Dan Campbell type of guy. He's right there.
And he picked up the best case CB for him. He loves the corner blitz and Carlton Davis was the guy for it on the bucs who were almost as blitz heavy as the vikings. Can't wait to see what kinda blitz covers we got in the tank
There is no bust for the Lions, only Super Bowl
Mina Kimes soft make up makes her look so cute
😂😂 I was thinking the same thing 😍
Y’all just forgetting Amik Robertson ?
Barring any major injuries to key players, if Lions go 5-0, one may be possibly looking at first 20-0 team of NFL, as by then rookies and team chemistry will be at a peak!! I am just mouth watering over a possibility, the way Dan coaches and prepares the team that is nearly complete!
Who are these dudes on nfl on ESPN..cheaper talent….im assuming
We.ll see
All the games are indoors where Jared Goff rules
I just need our get back from Dallas, Seattle and San Fran 😤 #OnePrideBaby
Yes, but maybe not this year though. They're a fairly young team, so their window is wide open rn
Won't need to keep going for it on 4th down once they sign Jake Bates.
😂 MCDC will keep going for it, it’s his nature.
Idgaf if they have Justin Tucker, they better keep going for it. Thats the new NFL. Just like how moneyball changed the thought process in baseball. Offense has a massive advantage in todays NFL (and it keeps getting harder and harder on defenses) and simple math tells you that if you go for it on fourth down twice and only score a TD on one of those attempts, you are STILL up one point than if you had kicked 2 FGs. And since the Lions convert on 4th down 86% of the time, its a very smart thing to do. Plus, it wears down defenses even MORE and crushes their will. Anyone who thinks otherwise cant accept that things change and football strategy isnt the same as it was 20 years ago.
Lions may be better but their 1st place schedule is tougher and everyone will have them on their radar. 10-7 or 11-6.
They wasn’t on nobody’s radar last year ?! I wonder why they opened the season up against the Champs in prime time ! Because nobody wasn’t expecting nothing from the Lions .. After sending A Rogers to New York…#DetroitVsEverybody

Lions are capable of beating any team in the NFC for a chance at a Superbowl birth, but you have to win the games and nobody is going to make it easy. If they get there it will be earned. Lions should get there we expect them to, but that's why you play the games. Paper champions and media champions mean nothing.
Fun team to watch, i find myself last year watching the lions over my team playing during the same time.
The entire league went from mocking Dan Campbell thinking he was a meat head idiot to now teams want a Dan Campbell on their team, not just on their team but running their team. Crazy how winning and changing an entire vibe and culture around a team can do to change narratives, I loved Dan after that first preser and Ik I'm in the minority.
Yes Detroit is better more talent but so are a lot of other teams. Top 5 hopefully for years to come.
It looks like that every year. But it’s literally impossible for it to happen. Many of the “improved” teams will not come thru. Many just not as much improved.
Every year people say that 😂. Every team “only got better”. The Lions legit get better every year. Drafting probowlers left and right and develop their homegrown talent.
I like coach, certainly disagreed with him not attempting field goals. Since 1965 GO LIONS.
It's not the coach's fault that idiot dropped two bread basket catches 😂

Super bowl or bust is just stupid .. let’s just stick to becoming a regular play off team if possible considering how long they’ve been a poor poor team

Superbowl or bust!!! Perfect
Lion's have a clever offensive coordinator among other things. Interesting team especially after decades of Ford family rot and stench.

I hope so. I'll take it.
SB24-2/3by2030!🦁⚒️💙
They squeaked by the Rams. Arguably a blown call from losing that game.
Yup. Their secondary sucked, mainly due to Cam Sutton who is gone. This team is better than last year. Only question mark is can Jamo and People-Jones make the big 3rd down receptions like Reynolds did all year long until the NFC championship.
Lions are loaded for sure only teams that is going to give them problems in the NFC is philly an san fran probably
You know Philadelphia eagles and San Francisco 49ers will not be the only 2 in the NFC thay can be either Superbowl and that the reason why Were just gonna see The chiefs dynasty part of that the team I'm seeing is the cardinal, Chicago, green bay, Washington commanders could be the top seed in the NFC next season other Wise you're Just gonna go for the Chiefs.
Love the lions. But extending Goff was a mistake
It's only a 4yr deal.
Ben Johnson will be the HC in Dallas next year.

That's right nfl. Keep forgetting about Brian branch.
Mina has been lukewarm on Detroit for awhile now. Feel like she's rooting against them 😅
Pay oc Johnson 10 mil a year to stay for 3 more years and 1 possibly 2 sb!!

He was a meathead in that NFC championship game. They should have been in the SB. Give them a kicker, and I don't see how they shouldn't be even better.

Doubt it campbell makes poor game calling decisions and the packers bears and vikings are all going be tougher
They should’ve been in the SB last year. What a travesty.
Now watch the Lions do like my Jaguars...go 9-8 or whatever after everyone's hopes are up.
I read this as they weren't good enough last year which makes the question are they even better at all? If they aren't significantly improved they aren't gonna be good enough again, and so now we have to see if there's any evidence of improvement. Some say yes some say no.
I'm just so not afraid of the Lions. They had some lucky breaks last year. They'll be middling this year. Injured the next year. Fire everyone and be terrible for another few decades.
Nah, I don't see that happening. Unless alot of our top guys get injured and miss huge chunks of time. For the past 4 years we have been killing it at the draft. We have drafted pro bowler after pro bowler. We have arguably the best offensive line in football. Which makes our run game and passing game one of the best in all of football. In free agency we signed two really good d-linemen. We also got a top corner out of Tampa. We drafted 2 of the best corners in the draft. I don't see "the same old lions" anymore. I'm not saying we will win the Superbowl, if we stay healthy and up our game we might. Ya never know? But the days of "same old lions" are over.
Lets go Lions
Lets go Lions
Their run defense was good because everyone passed lol
their run defense was good because their run defense was good.
The vikings being projected as the worst division and still expected to put up a fight for a wildcard says alot about the NFC North. If they not the strognest division in the NFC they certainly are the most entertaining
Wow You're against the expectations of buffalo bills going to the Superbowl are ya? Don't doubt on the Vikings because they're coming as a Very hot teaming next Couple seasons they'll be Wide awake for A super bowl At the same time with the buffalo bills.
Lions might win less games this year but go further in the playoffs. Green bay over rated though. They beat up on some bad teams last year and they beat the lions only because they had 4 turnovers. Panthers would beat the chiefs if they turned the ball over 4 times
script it properly this time. or else.
I'm bussin, full Diddy
Campbell cost Detroit 6 extremely valuable points in the 2nd half in the 2023 NFC title game. The Lions will probably never get closer to winning a SB than they did this past year. There's aggressive and then there's stupid thanks to Campbell for not kicking 2 FGs
And dropping two fourth-down passes that would have extended both drives is Campbell's fault?
@@MrSprigg dude he should’ve just went for the 2 FGs and he would’ve won. He left 6 points on the board and lost by 3 points
@@jrod132 Hindsight is 20/20. Up until that point, they were shoving the ball down SF's throat. There was no reason to change what was already working. The fact that it stopped working is not Campbell's fault; he didn't drop the passes.
@@MrSprigg doesn’t matter. He should’ve went for the 2 FGs and would’ve won the game. His dumb coaching decisions cost the Lions to be in the SB
@@jrod132 Field goals of that length are not automatic. There is no guarantee that there would have been an additional six points on the board.
Lions and packers beat themselves against SF
But It Won't be The Cardinals next Season at NFC championship
Problem with Detroit defense wasn't completely the coverage. They can't pass rush at all. That's the main problem and they didn't address that. This secondary will have the same issues
You might want to actually look into saying a hot take so you don't look completely foolish
Hutchinson, I believe, lead the league in hurrying the QB. He also had double digit sacks. He played lights out in the playoffs too. We did have some injuries on the line last year. But our line was solid. We went out and got DJ Reader and another D-linemen (I forgot the dudes name lol. Total brain fart.) If we can keep our line relatively healthy, we will be good.
They might lose two games, maybe.
