I was born in Detroit, grew up a fan, went to games and training camps. I bought season tickets in 1996, and been going to games since. Nothing will stop me from loving this team, not even the 0-16 season could. DETROIT VS EVERYBODY
Yo.......I'm a die-hard Patriots fan and live 40 minutes from Foxboro. We used to be the Lions of the AFC. Then along came Tom and the rest is history. I'm on the Lions bandwagon because the people of Detroit deserve it. Along came Goff and the rest is history. Shout out to Sheila Ford-Hamp
I was raised in Northern Cali. My pops has some family out this way in Detroit. Im in Ann Arbor because of the VA.
Jared Goff is my dude though. I went to quite a few games when he played for Cal. Cal vs. USC was always a fun atmosphere. Jared was fun to watch in college. He had an arm, and a receiving core that could make plays. When he got drafted to the LA Rams I thought it was poetic justice. A NorCal kid gets drafted to a SoCal team. Glad to see him in Detroit, and damn glad they are paying him to stay. They should be a solid team this season.

Funny how they changed their tune about The Lions draft class. I won’t ever doubt Brad Holmes again he’s earned our trust that he’s got a good idea of what he’s doing and knows what type of players they’re looking for.
The guys we got in the first round have been great, which of course is expected of first round picks. But I was saying this then, saying it now - we would have been much better off filling positions of need, especially to have gotten Kancey at 18, maybe Gonzalez with the first one. To go best player available is a luxury only afforded already fully loaded teams, we still had glaring holes, were already very good at RB, solid at TE. This will be all the more evident as our corner room almost empties going into next season, pretty much the same situation with interior defensive line.
@@johnboehmer6683We’ll see what Jack Campbell becomes next year as he’s at a position that needs time and development but I do agree with you on Kauncey or just in general needing to vill those glaring holds. Our corners are really bad and our pass rush outside of Hutch is subpar to say the least.

Since I'm a native of the region and my father was a forever Lions fan until he passed before I graduated primary school, I can you that the 3 key difference makers of the Detroit Lions is: 1. Coach Dan Campbell (he came back to a team he loved and felt he needed to prove to everyone exactly what he knew that no one else did. He has more heart than anyone in that franchise. He is beyond extraordinary b/c he built this team from the ground up... literally); 2. the new Rockies came in and made the team gel together so well (namely Gibbs, Hutchinson and Moseley) and Jared Goff (he looked inside himself and pulled out a man that was needed to lead this team and as a result, he got his own confidence restored, he has found where he fits and he magnificent). Let's go LIONS🦁💙 LETS GOOOO🔥🔥🔥

Today, in 5 hours, the Detroit Lions will play in the NFC Championship. I was 11 yrs old last time this happened, and it was worth the wait.

Great Interview! I'm originally from the Southside of Chicago! The land of The Cardinals until it wasn't! But as a kid in the 50's & 60's my Grandfather owned a lodge The Kickapoo Lodge near Dowagiac Michigan, just up the hill from Indian Lake, we would spend our summers up there with my family running the day to day operations of the lodge! Even though being up in the country, there were no street lights, the night was dark! It would scare the hell out of us city kids! But I loved going to Michigan and consider it a second home! being Irish, I'm superstitious so I'll just say like this! I'm hoping for a Superbowl where the 49'ers won't be playing in it! And that Ted Karras #61 played on the "63" Championship Team and his Brother Alex Karras #71 a Great DT HOF'er played for the Lions! I'm very Happy for Detroit, "MotorD, Motown Hitsville USA" and the Detroit Lion's Fans! Hopefully the Bears will make their way back towards the top of the Black & Blue Division again and have some great games between the two Greatest Cities in the Great Lakes! Sinn Fein GO Lions!

I have to admit, I wasn't sold on the Jahmyr Gibbs pick at first. He didn't have a 1,000 yard season in college and was a first round pick. Clearly I was wrong.

@@Mattz_442that's part of the reason they picked him up though, he can catch as well as rush. It's like having a good RB who can swing as a receiver. I admit, at first I thought they could have got him at 18 but reports came out after that he would have been gone before that. He's not only fast but he's dynamic great pick

I love much crap the Lions got for the 2023 draft and the 4 top picks were arguably all the best at there position group in the entire draft. Easily one of the best drafts they have ever had. Gibbs, Campbell, Laporta and Branch would be top 10 picks if there was a redraft.
I mean 2021 they drafted arguably 2 hall of famers, McNeil, iffy, Barnes. It may be better than 23s class
They changed owners hired hired a GM and high energy coach who knew what the hell they were doing.

The Rams over under before the season was 5 wins. This was supposed to be a rebuild year for the Rams. The fact they made the playoffs and found 5 legitimate rookie NFL starters with late picks this season is amazing. The season is already a huge success. The Lions are stacked with high drafted talent and should win this game. It in no way shows that Goff is better than Stafford, because he's not. The Rams will be one of the Super Bowl favorites next year.

Love where the Lions are at, but they have some work to do in the off-season, regardless of how the post season plays out. The Okwara brothers, Big V, Tracy Walker and possibly Levi Onwuzurike need to be shown the door. They need to get a true #1 corner, as Cam Sutton has shown he's not ready for that role, and Jerry Jones is CLEARLY not starting quality. Ceedy Duce....I'm torn on whether he should be offered a deal. The Lions have to consider that they need to extend some of their current key players, like Sun God, Penei Sewell and Alim McNeil. Add another quality edge rusher and this team could become unstoppable.
Romeo is solid vs the run, and has 3 sacks in very limited playing time at the ridiculously low $2 mil/yr, he's a bargain of a rotational piece.
1000% agreement on the need for a legit CB1, we should have got one this year in the first round. Mosely wasn't gonna be it either, him and Sutton are solid #2s.
Jerry Jones is clearly not starting quality, but neither is Jerry Jacobs...😁
Garner Johnson can go if we can't get him for a similar price, but if so, we need to either keep Walker, or get another safety no lower than the 3rd round. I like keeping Branch at the slot.

Offensive coordinator Benjamin David Johnson, Correspondence: Coach Campbell, defensive coordinator Aaron Glen, cross routes are hard to defend. Have one play, as a just in case > titled ?? for those 3rd or 4th and long... the team needs to understand the expectation. Coach 🏈 practices need to be in zero audience. Back to basics. The just in case needs to be built from the ground up. Meaning, understand expectation, walk assignments, dial up one decibel of up'spin on every cycle, and dial in one decibel of down'spin in tempo, until you arrive at full speed, then test in resistance, stay calm, trusting expectation manifests instinct, instinct creates victories. Repetition polishes expectation. Big watts of oxygen. Both push and pull coordinations must be synthesized meaning zero shooting from the hip gentlemen. Predicability is understood as the path of least resistance. It can either hunt us down as consequence or we can exploit it in benefit. Their is zero grey areas of understanding with predicability. Fourth and one, increase mass, tighter formation, QB, secure 🏈, bend at the knees, and place shoulder under center assist your center with g-force by lunging forward in walk. O-line lower your stance, push forward towards apex, 🔼 carve out the arrow head. Never forget these blades on fire. Spin expectation.

Detroit gave away a gift from God in Santa Clara. 27 unanswered points and we get to watch the same damn teams we’ve been watching for decades. The whole team choked and this is the one time we cannot blame the refs. Next year I see Detroit finally in the Super Bowl. They will learn from this when they watch a team they beat win and a team they choked on lose. This was a kick in the gut they will never forget.

Overall very good video. But wow, some really bad editing in it. Like with the Chicago game....you have him talking about 2 min left, then you don't even show the last play, it just jumps right to after the play was over. Either show the last 2 min, or at least show the whole last play. There were a few others where you just jump right into something and it just didn't fit right.

Ok, against Minnesota #79, had the fumble recovery easy,but what does he do that we are taught not to do, and we are taught this all the way back to pee-wee. He tries to pick it up and be a hero by possibly scoring. We are taught to jump on the ball if he had jumped on the ball. It's lions possession. Instead, they are March down the field, and thankfully, for #6 Ifeatu Melifonwu he picks it off at the goalliine and secures the game. A VETERAN DEFENSIVE LINEMEN SHOULD KNOW TO JUMP ON THE BALL. LET THE TD'S BE FOR THE OFFENSE OR THE DEFENSIVE BACKS.
