@@cvesta81ya even when Jones was available to play they didn't give him a big work load until those final few games where he had that 100 yd rushing streak. I'm not sure if his hamstring and later his knee was still an issue during those games he had limited snaps or if it was just a change in philosophy by Matt when it was obvious Dillion wasn't gonna be as productive with the workload he was getting.

Despite the bad defense it was 2 drops by the receiver's that caused them not to make the Superbowl. If those catches are made they win.

The interception off the face mask and Gibbs fumble didn't help their cause. And don't get me started on the inability to put Purdy on the ground. There were two times they had him surrounded like Custer at the Little Big Horn and he slipped out and ran past the LB's for key first downs. It's not like Michael Vick was back there, or even Aaron Rodgers for that matter. Bottom line, the moment was too big for em. That was a team loss all the way. At least when they lost to Dallas in 2014 they had that good-old hometown ref action at Jerry World to pin it on. I just hope they are pissed off enough to do something about it this time around because watching KC and SF play in that SB, all I could think was, the Lions could have beaten either of those teams that night. I hope the players thought so too and it eats at em day and night, night and day.

Sam Darnold will do what Sam Darnold does which is turn the ball over. The quicker Minnesota gets JJ up to speed the quicker they make the playoffs.
Chicago tajes a slight step back with a rookie QB and Det & GB battle it out, both make the playoffs both are SB contenders. Detroit as the better roster so GB would need Love to take another step which is entirely possible.

Ya if his contract talks between him, his agent, Russ Ball and Brian Gutekunst were an issue he probably wouldn't be at OTAs even in his interview yesterday he didn't seem concerned about it. I feel like Tuas situation is a much bigger deal to talk about than Loves among the QBs looking for a contract this off-season.

@@danjacobsen7645 Actually keeping the Cheese Burger Heads out of the playoffs the year before was quite a treat as well. Making Aaron Rodgers quit is another. It happens be one year of success for your QB but that would require using your head.
