Hi Zoe, loving your videos... i think it would be cool and really helpful if you did a quick tutorial on like very detailed like pleats and embroidery because a lot of modern fashion is very intricate and detailed... also I am not able to like render my like complex designs because of the bleeding effect from the markers... love everything your doing
I have videos on all these things. Use the search bar on my channel's homepage, not the main RUclips search.
it is 6 am and i have class in 2 hours and i am so glad this video exist lol
Hi Zoe! Could you please show us how to illustrate Matte Nylon with markers(or different media)?
Zoe I miss you! And love your illustrations! I wish they were eeeevery day. Here are some illustration requests: a short-dress Bridal collection with feathers, (any feathers), blazers tailored for women that use more than one fabric (you’ve seen that androgynous motto jacket trend, right Zoe?), and a chocolate 🍫 colored leather collection. (No Im not getting married and no I am not an illustrator! Please don’t move my requests to the back of the line because of it lol!) To give YOU some ideas on what to illustrate next, my favorite illustration video of yours so far is the iridescent tutorial. My second favorite is the lingerie illustration video. Hope to see you soon! ❤️
Where did you get your markers ?? Mine are super bad and I really need new ones and ofc I need good ones so where did you buy yours ?? I really want to know cause they are great !!
Hi Zoe, that pencil you using here, what pencil is it, it works so well, and what brand marker pens do you recommend? x
Ayyyyeee its Zoe 😁🙌
Grazie espertissima
What do you think about using an app like Procreate to sketch or color on a device in replacement of actual paper and other media?
I just wanted to ask if you could try japanese clothing? It's hard to gauge the shades for flowy kimonos, and I would appreciate some help!
what do you use for the finally line?thank you
I really enjoy learning new things from you that fills in my scant knowledge. I went to school one year and learned constuction and fitting. The next year, that program was cut. When I studied in tne mid 80's, it was part of the Home Ec department at the community college. After that I had to be self taught in haute sewing.
Still out in the sticks but now in my early 50's I'm looking to find a accredited online design course and finally live my dream.
Awesome! Good luck!
@@zoehongteaches thank you very much. I just designed a modern Korean Hanbok for a Goth/Punk look. Family is totally horrified but its very comfortable to wear in this 100+ heat.
@@bohemiansusan2897 hahahahahahah Yes, you do you!
What pencil is that that you're using in the video?
Omg, you are soooo good at this !! Glad I found your channel at the right time. Well, which brand of markers would you recommend for beginners?
Most alcohol based professional quality markers are fine. Copic, Prismacolor, Winsor & Newton, Blick, Touch, etc
@@zoehongteaches Oh okay. Thanks a ton! ❤️
I know its years later but what kind of pencil do you use for thr outlines?
Can I ask what kind of markers you use?
Thank you can you show me how to color the white lace dress
Hi, I wonder what if I don't have lots of range colors of markers? How many markers do you think I should have? Because now I only have like 40 colors, but each color is quite different.
😍😍😍😍😍
It will be amazing if you tell us more about the production side of fashion industry about the manufacturers, buyers, retail.

I always stayed away from markers/ afraid to you soon. but I’m going to try these tips and tricks. What was that pencil you used to outline your sketchers?

Can we use marker technique for all kind of garments, even for formal gowns. Thank you for showing grading with markers, i always use to think it can not be done
Yup, any garment. Watch my Illustrating Specific Fabrics playlist to learn about different fabric textures.
This is amazing, can I do this on my Crayola markers tho..(marker tip isn't same) I still don't have supplies. So, I'm working from scratch.
Try it and let me know.

I see the beginning and I'm like so perfect...then I watch you do it with little mistakes..then you finish and it's perfect again and I'm just wondering did I miss the Abracadabra?...
Hahahaha that's process for you! Sometimes you work on something and halfway you start to hate it because it's not going perfectly but if you persevere and do the best you can, you can end up with a result you like!
@@zoehongteaches Hello, what markers do you use ?????
@@lisaaugustin5400 In the video she used copic and prismacolor
How do you stop people from stealing your design? How do you decide what company should make your product? How can you reach out to the company?
I just have a question, to start doing fashion illustration, what would you recommend? Using a basic white paper or an specific one. I would like to start doing that but really don't know what materials should I use to start.
Start by watching my Getting Started with Markers playlist.
