This was the most helpful video I've seen yet. I just invested in a 200 set Prismamarker to start coloring faster (was using water colors previously) and how in-depth, above and beyond you went in this tutorial has really helped someone like me understand how to color correctly. I'm obsessed with your videos now. Thank you for taking the time out of your life to share your knowledge with us, I really appreciate it. You are amazing!

I LOVE your videos! I went to college for Fashion Design, and this is way more useful.
Now I'm in university studying textiles, and hoping to actually find a good job in the industry to do with sustainable fashion, and it's been... a struggle.
You're keeping my motivation very high and your videos are super accessible and fun to watch. Thank you so much Zoe! :)

Thank you so much for sharing! I use your video's for my interns, but now I have given myself a week off I really enjoy getting into more drawing for fun again. Usually I make a quick sketch, that works for our studio. But long, long ago I started in fashion because I loved to draw and making dolls on my room. I brought my sketchbook to family visits and filled the sundays sitting at aunts tables just drawing princesses and brides. Kind of funny that I am getting back at that stuff right now. Although I was trained in drawing, I lost it a bit, and I am amazed that knowing so much more on making clothes with different fabrics are such a help to draw details. I love your video's, there is so much knowledge in them and they are so helpfull and funny too. I hope you liked being in Amsterdam a little while ago. Good luck with THE book.

Hi, I love the markers that you’re using. What kind of markers do you use? Whats the brand?

How would you render sheer fabric that has a opaque lining on the inside? I want to render a dress for my college portfolio but can't figure out how to get that depth that you see between the sheer fabric and the lining behind it.

Thank you so much! I am really curious, what pencil do you use. Its as good as a black multinliner. Please let me know!

+Fatema Abizar You're welcome! In this video, the pencil I'm using when I'm doing the last bits is a Pentel Twist Erase XP with a .7mm 2B lead. I like this pencil a lot, the cushiony grip is nice when you're drawing a lot, but pretty much any good quality mechanical pencil with a soft lead like 2B or 4B will get you that look. Just be careful of smudging!

Hi Zoe, I LOVE your videos! You are such a great teacher, thank you for the time you put into it.
I have a question that is a bit hard for me to put into words but I'll give it a go anyway: you know how in your videos about drawing figures you recommend flipping the page because the brain gets used to the drawing so we can't find our mistakes? Well, I experience something similar but different when drawing "effects" like shadows, shine, sheerness etc. during the process of drawing I'm so focused on the details of it that my brain looses its ability to see the effect - instead of looking like shadows, shine, sheerness everything looks to me like spots of paint (just like I drew them) and I can't seem to switch it off.
Do you get what I'm trying to say? Does it ever happen to you? Do you have a solution how to deal with it? (it also happens to me with others' drawings, like with this video, in the thumbnail the clothes looked sheer to me but after I saw the video, it's like I discovered the magic trick and it looks to me like areas of different colors and tones...)
Hope I was clear, thank you!

Hello! I'm sorry but I've never heard of your experience before and therefore don't have any answers for you. Sounds to me that you would make a good teacher if you're able to see something and break it down to its elements.
