Came here to say the same thing! While I'm pretty handy, installing this stuff if new to me and this video was perfect. Thanks for taking the time to make a great video!
The best video on the install on this set up. I like the upgraded pinch bolts instead if the jam nut on the drag link. Just an FYI a little antiseize would be advised at least on the adjuster sleeves. Well done on the alignment with string lines just keep in mind if you are installing an adjustable track bar that will havto be lined up with the back and front as well before the front allignment. there was a few year models that had defective knuckels y 12 model had one and caused all kinds off issues till i fugered this out and replaced. good luck to any that take this on
@@isolateddieselperformance3261 yes sir I could tell yours was right On. I commented for those that may do the track bar at the same time. How’s it holding up ?
I’ve had it on for I think 5 yrs now and also their track bar. The Carli bar heim joint just didn’t hold up I prefer the synergy bar with the pressed in bushings.
Did the washers come in the kit when you spaced the castle nut on the pitman arm? And when you did the alignment with the string was that so you did not have to take it and get a tire alignment you just did it yourself? Stupid questions probably but I not as well rounded as you seem I will have to take the truck in for a professional alignment🤣🤣
I have been running the Synergy MFG steering for about 3 years or so on my 07 2500 Ram. I have 6" lift and 37" tires. If you are turning larger tires with a lift I would stay away from the Synergy kit. The rod ends wear out too quickly and they are proprietary so you can only get them from Synergy. I had trouble getting parts for mine for the 2 years of the pandemic since Synergy was forced to close shop for a bit. I have to replace the rod ends at least once per year sometimes twice. About every 6 to 9 months my steering develops a good bit of slop and I have to replace the rod ends. I am getting ready to go to a Hiem joint T style steering.
Far as I can tell its better than factory but that being said I did go from parts that had 104,000 miles on them to brand new. I would ask around for other opinions before pulling the trigger on either product.
Haha too late, trigger has been pulled. Hey brother I got part way into the install and special ordered a 1 1/4” crows foot to torque those jam nuts but it’s too small. Are you sure you were using a 1 1/4?
Thanks for the great instructions. I have a 2003 Dodge DRW 4x4. The Drag link runs so close to the oil pan with the wheel cranked to the right. You said it had to be level with the tie-rod and straight forward Looks like yours is close also. I don't have any lift or leveling kit on it. I fear it will hit the oil pan if I get in the ruff while turning right when the suspension cycles. Thinking on angling it down just a bit to add some clearance at the oil pan. What do you think.
This is a great video of the install, but do you have any pointers on removing the tie rod end from the knuckle? Im having a hell of a time getting the driver side out. It does not want to budge at all. There is no room to get a pickle fork in. And I've deformed the ear a little outside of where the tie rod stud goes in from beating on it so much.
Cannot get my pitman arm joint off. Looks like maybe you drilled a hole in the end of the bolt? Any tips getting it off? Have used many of your videos and appreciate all you do. Just can’t get this part off. Ruined one puller. Tried a pickle fork. At a loss
Honestly I don't know if the improvement of synergy is worth the price hike over mopar replacement if we are talking about steering improvement but that being said when comes to replacing tie rod ends synergy is way easier and a lot faster to replace. Both are heavy duty. Synergy tie rod ends will probably last a lot longer. If you don't mind spending the extra money go with synergy. Hope that helps
I’ve got a question on the small steering bar it’s bottomed out but won’t fit the the steering link on the truck it too long have any ideas but great video would like if u could respond asap
@@isolateddieselperformance3261 But come to find out after my Mopar tie rod bar arrives, i see another vid that yours is better. Lol, im 63 years old, retired diesel mechanic 44 years, story of my life, run this one till its junk, get your style

Installing my Synergy steering linkage this weekend. One question: Is there any reason I can't orient the Schrader valve in the up position? I'm afraid it will get busted off hanging down.
@@isolateddieselperformance3261 they don't have them listed on their website but if you contact them they know exactly what you need to install a true lifetime product.
EMF has been so backed up with orders they have at times suspended their production of their tie-rod ends. Once you get a set you'll never need another. I have 3.5 years of oilfield roads and the terrible canadian roads on them and they are like new. You'll have to contact EMF and they will know what the Synergy System requires. They don't have them listed on their website. I have purchased 2 sets. One for my pickup and another for my wife's welding truck
@isolateddieselperformance3261 Sorry lol. Can you just set your length of your tie rod before you install it. Instead of turning the adjuster sleeve and tie rod all the way in and then installing it and then having to turn it all out to get your measurement.
@Isolated Diesel Performance maybe a hiss but whatever it is it goes away after 30mph and I posted it on fb and alot of people are having bad noise feedback
As always awesome video, but I'm bringing it to the shop for this one. Fk dat shi. Im scared to get under that big mofo when she's on jack stands.😂 I'm about to do it to my 16' 3500 Ram. Did this with Carli's setup on my 04 HO 6-Speed a couple years ago. Good video on installation process.

You should be able to angle it down without any issues. I've done that before with no problems

Thanks brother! Still working on more
Good afternoon Sir, how does the new set up feel while driving? im in the market and its between full send diesel and synergy.
Feels better than factory. Truck drives a lot better. I think synergy has a better product than I was expecting

Get a torch and give it some heat. Push up on it while you hit the knuckle with a hammer

Installing my Synergy steering linkage this weekend. One question: Is there any reason I can't orient the Schrader valve in the up position? I'm afraid it will get busted off hanging down.
You might can as long as it don't hit the tie rod link at full turn. Remember the geometry changes as you turn the wheel.
