  • Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel. In this video, I will be discussing the winter care of adenium plants and the advantages of hanging adeniums during the winter season. Without further delay, let's dive into it.
Here, you can observe an adenium plant that has shed all its leaves. As temperatures drop, the leaves turn yellow and eventually fall off.
Since adeniums cannot produce food efficiently in cold weather, it's crucial not to overwater them or provide extra fertilizer during the winter period.
One effective approach is to remove the plants from their growing medium, trim their small roots, and suspend them somewhere for a month. Repotting can then be done as the weather begins to warm up.
Now, I'll uproot the plant, shake off its growing medium, sanitize the blade with alcohol, and trim away any unnecessary small roots.
    Let's go through the process.
By temporarily depriving the plant of food and water, we encourage it to concentrate nutrients and water in the caudex, resulting in a plumper appearance.
After applying fungicide, I'll let it dry for a while before placing it in a room; alternatively, you may choose to hang it. The process remains the same.
After a month, I'll repot the plant and expose it to direct sunlight since the winter sun is not overly harsh.
If repotting were done in the summer, the plant would need a week in the shade before transitioning to full sunlight.
That concludes today's discussion. Thank you for watching. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comment section. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe. Happy gardening!
