    In case of healthy adeniums even if you completely remove the soil and keep it for 7 to 10days without any soil, the plant doesnt go into any shock. Yes the leaves go yellow and fall and the caudex shrinks. But after you repot it after 7 to 10days, it grows with a lot of vigor again.

    Thanks for great video! I live in Durban, South Africa-Southern Hemisphere- East Coast so summer rainfall. I am not sure where you live so your discussion about when to water may be different if you are in the northern hemisphere. When is your rainy season?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Год назад

      You are most welcome and thank you so much for your kind words, appreciated! I am from India and in my place, whole summer can be referred as rainy season. In this part of India (Assam), rainfall is quite high. Plus, summer temp is quite high too - 33°C-35°C [91.4°F-95°F]. So, water evaporate quite fast as they get whole day of sunlight. If you are worried about rainfall, please do like this (I have shown a simple method to protect Adenium in too much rainfall, in the end part of the video) - ruclips.net/video/xfahagUt8RA/видео.html

    IS gloxinia an annual flowering plant or a perennial.will it sprout after it diesback after flowering, i bought it 1 month back with buds for Rs200 , it produced blooms but now its dying. U had a video on it , i saw it u told that the best time to plant gloxinia is February but in Delhi it blossoms in winters nurserymen told me.Are all gloxinias grown from bulb and how is ur gloxinia pls tell.I know that comment is too long but I'm worried of my plant pls guide me.

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  2 года назад

      @Chaitanya Srivastava, Gloxinia is perennial plant and as they are grown from bulbs. Even though foliage die due to climate issues, grows again as soon as climate is favorable. The Nursery man is correct. Due to high temp, in Dehli it would be better to grow in Winter. Mine bloomed in Summer even though temp in my place is not too low either. Again, it sprouted just 1 month back (around) and blooming now. The size of the bloom is less as temp in my place is yet to come down. It was 35 yesterday :-( Anyway, you don't have to worry about them anything. They would sprout when climate is favorable. In the meantime, you can just water once or twice in a month and keep the pot in bright area. The bulbs may dry out if there is not enough moistere in the soil. Again, they would rot if we water too frequently. I hope that helps, thank you :-)

    Hello sir.Could you please tell me what is 1/ 40 and 1/4 ments as given by you. Thankyou

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Год назад

      Sorry, perhaps you are referring to Subtitles!!!! As my pronunciation is not good enough, RUclips selects some wired words sometimes while creating auto SubTitles (not RUclips's fault, it's mine). I have just fixed the Subtitles and now everything should be clear. Could you please check it once as I don't have anything like - "1/ 40 and 1/4 ments" in my content...
      But still, I believe it's about the soil mix you were asking. If I am correct, here it is - "I take 4 different components in equal part where, 1 part is normal garden soil, 2nd part is Vermicompost, 3rd part is Cocopeat and last part is Sand. The Pattern of the sand is big"
      Hope that helps..but in case you have any queries, please don't hesitate to ask me. Thank you for watching :-)

    When the leaves turn yellow and keep falling?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  9 дней назад

      More Water is the main issue...Also, if Humidity is high, leaves turn yellow and keep falling off. Same thing happens here in my place as rainfall is quite high in my place and not ideal for Adenium..

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  2 года назад +1

      @piyushi agarwal, We can grow them in small pots like 4-6 inch and they do quite well but it also depend on the size of your plant. If the size of your plant is medium-large (like mine), then you can use 8-10 inch pot and that's more than enough. Thank you :-)
