      Winter is the resting season for adenium, and it's important to know that sunlight is essential for this plant. Without enough sunlight, it won't bloom to its full potential. After winter, it's a good time to repot your adenium for the best results. I also have videos on my channel that can guide you through this process. Thank you for your comment!

    No, depends on weather and soil media. If you water them in the morning in the summer it will get rotted from the bottom because of water will try to evoparate and it will coock the roots And it's also depends on your soil if it is cinder so water after aunset when it is cool.

    • @RoysTerraceGarden

      Avoid using river sand, as it may contain salt, which is harmful to plants. Instead, you can find stone chips at construction-related shops. Coco peat and compost can be purchased from your local nursery or online stores.

    Hello Mister Roy Do they stay in full sunlight in all seasons? It gets very hot here in summer, 45-50 Celsius, should seedlings stay in partial shade during summer in your opinion? How hot does it get in your area during summer peak?

    • @RoysTerraceGarden
      @RoysTerraceGarden 2 месяца назад

      For adenium obesum, it's important to keep them in the shade when the sun is very hot to prevent sunburn. However, if you keep arabicum plants in the shade, their branches will grow tall and leggy, which is undesirable. Therefore, arabicum plants require full sun. 39/40 max

    Beautiful… where is this?

  • @RoysTerraceGarden
    @RoysTerraceGarden 2 месяца назад

    Rain is crucial for adeniums, also known as desert roses, but in moderation. These plants thrive in arid conditions and can suffer from root rot if overwatered. Rain provides essential hydration, helping the plant to grow and bloom. However, well-drained soil is vital to prevent waterlogging. Occasional rainfall supports their growth, but prolonged wet periods can be detrimental. Proper watering practices mimic natural rain patterns, ensuring the adenium receives adequate moisture without the risk of excess water accumulation.

    • @RoysTerraceGarden
      @RoysTerraceGarden 3 месяца назад

      It's barely impossible to get that shape naturally.. when your arabicum is 7/8 months old, you need to cut the plant and apply fungicide and let it dry in shade before planting. You will find detailed information in my videos. But feel free to ask me questions..
