This kind of reminds me of when I recovered my Honda cr500,when it was stolen two days after I had finish restoring it,except, there was more violence and blood involved. My buddy had his BRAND NEW less that two hours on it cr250r stolen out of his truck in northern Michigan. He had the bike strapped in and chain around the swing arm and rear wheel. Myself, I chain and cable my 450 to a steel a plate lagged through a 6x6 beam and it ain’t going nowhere unless they got torches !
That was pretty stupid of a thief to keep literally every identifying mark on the bike. If the guy sold it for 1500, considering the thief didn't pay a dime, he easily could've repainted the fairings and changed the grips, levers, etc for cheap replacements for like $50
Mac McCracken in this specific situation, yes, but it would be easily possible that like a week later he tried to flip it and it get recognized. If I were a thief, I wouldn't have taken that chance and tried to cover my tracks

Such a good feeling. I had a mountain bike stolen years ago, insurance paid out and then about a year later the police found it in some drug dealers flat. Got it back! I still have it to this day.
I had my bicycle stolen, fixed and returned. On an island heading to the ferry, hit a deep pot hole at good speed, front BOOM back BOOM...two flats down a hilly road. Held it steady and slowed down & stopped. Left the bike on the bike rack at ferry. Returned later that day and found bike was gone. Called a two bike shops and sure enough, it was there being repaired. It was finished. Told the store to call the guy & tell him bike was ready. Guy said he was on his way. My roommate was a cop so I called him as well & he came down out of uniform. Waited around 20 mins when guy showed up. He went in, paid for repairs, wheeled bicycle outside and my roommate then proceeded to ruin his day...sort of. Flashed his badge, explained the bike was stolen and gave him an option, walk away and call it even or be arrested for possession of stolen property. He walked. My bike got two flats repaired and the tire trued (straightened) while I was off island - and it cost me nothing!! PLM Police Lives Matter

Tip for bikers find a hidden spot on the bike then write your name so if it gets stolen and you find the bike you have proof that its your by your license and the name on the bike.
Good for you for focusing on the positives about the bike being in good shape and not letting it ruin your day ETC. That's a good mentality to have a happy meaningful life! More than likely he knows more than letting on ask yourself would you buy a bike for 1500 with no title?
Probably not. The insurance company owns the stolen bike. Somewhere in the paperwork, the owner assigned the ownership to the insurance company. The insurance company can sell the recovered bike (even to the owner if he wants it back) to reduce their loss.

It's in the same condition as the day it was stolen because it's prob. been in hiding (garaged), up until the day you saw the guy with it. Just sayin, glad you got your wheels back though.👍 Nice Kawi.👏
my motorcycle was stolen also , my red gsxr 600 hope to find it one day
Shadow Cali559 I hope u do
Shadow Cali559, buy a tracker and hide it on your bike. Then if it is stolen send the location to the cops
Gary Johnson that's a good idea I gotta find it first thougj
Shadow Cali559 obv he isnt talking about ur stolen bike u dumb fuck lol
Shadow Cali559 good luck dude
Arrrggghhh the intro music...killed my eardrums.
Good vid. on getting your bike back...I liked your plan & determination.
it brings me joy to see you get your bike back even after a year I got mine back about a month ago got stolen two years ago it sucked
Yeah I still cant believe it
Sav Daddies u have loads of bikes and that guy didn't steal it he paid for it off of some 1 u could have him it back even if its stolen off u
Respect the RUclips community Official. you are some kind of special. his fault for not running the vin.
Respect the RUclips community Official it's his bike bro. Why would he spend that much time to get a bike that wasn't his back.
I'm from ri little ways away
You were a lot more calm than I would've been.
Yeah picture yourself riding alone and two random guys come up to you and tell you it's their bike. They might be telling the truth, the might be bike thieves themselves, or worse. You're going to be pretty scared. And the guy looks like he was on the small side too. It was pretty shit how you assumed he was guilty until you finally found out he wasn't the thief. Glad you got the bike back though.
Jesus Christ yeah h probably bought it from the original scammer
Except when you knock out his teeth you're now going to be arrested and charged. Just because someone has your property, especially 2 years later, doesn't mean they themselves stole it.
You seem like a danger to society dude.
Jesus Christ well how was he supposed to know that he wasn't the one who stole it, if you saw your stolen car, and had details that only you knew of and recognized I think you would point fingers as well
Adam Arzo who exactly?
Ahhhhhh Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, what are you on? They shoulda beat his fuckin' ass just for possessing it. Fuckin' thieves have waaaayyy too many rights.
props for the way you confronted the guy. It's pretty much impossible to tell if the guy was the thief, or just an innocent person that bought the bike.
The language used by guy indicates deception and the fact he ran away indicates he was the thief
Your brows look like hell but good job on getting the bike!
xCrash lmao true
way to ruin the kids self esteem for no reason
If a comment on the internet ruins his self esteem that's his problem. At least it was honest, maybe he never noticed and now he'll keep his brows trimmed and have even more self confidence than ever before.
Larry David Nah, he lost his esteem when he realized a hobbit stole his bike.
xCrash Because confronting the person who has his bike is less important then stating someone who's eyebrows look like hell lol
Amazed by the you're so calmed while facing the fact.
This kind of reminds me of when I recovered my Honda cr500,when it was stolen two days after I had finish restoring it,except, there was more violence and blood involved.
I actually heard my bike being ridden a mile and a half away from me,I recognised the sound straight away!:-)
Jumped in my car, went up there, hid behind a bush and pounced on the bastard. He split his leg wide open,so while he was lying in a heap I rode it home with the bike covered in his blood and my misses drive the car back.
This bastard one day beforehand just randomly stopped in my street and spoke to me when I was cleaning it after my first ride of it,prick!
I had an 88 XR600 stolen, it sucks, never did find it!
@@kurtgates4194Sorry to hear that, my shed is around the back of my house,i can't describe the feeling when i went around and the door was wide open!!:-(
Yeah okay
Great you got it back. Had my custom zx- 6r stolen. 2 months later got a call from the police department they found the frame.
was that guy really short
no shit
Fade StatTrak but you know what he meant and it was a dumb question anyway
Arttu Ylitervo but I didn't know if the bike was tall as fuck... I don't know that much about dirt bikes
Heroic Ass Potato nah I mean bikes can be pretty tall but not that fucking tall he was definetely pretty short
Heroic Ass Potato s I think it was FaZe Apex
Nice job, you guys handled it the right way. got my bike stolen in high school, was the worst feeling i ever had waking up from camping and the bike was gone. cops caught a kid riding it on the street 4 years later when i was in college. When i got it back it was in about the same condition as when i lost it and i sold it to a friend. Kid who bought it from the thief didn't get any money back. Moral of the story, do not buy a bike without a title, period.
Damn I wish i can get my 2004 Suzuki RM250 back :/ it's been 10 months that it has been stolen from me. congrats on getting your bike back though!!!
Dont give up man! this showed up two years later.
Sav Daddies i live in New York City where all dirt bikes get stolen and you can never get it back :( even if i do see it, I would have to follow the guy and steal it back cause the police in new york are now destroying all dirt bikes stolen or not. Sadly i gotta risk my life cause it was a ghetto gang who stole my bike.
a Friend of mine and I got our Bikes (mine CR250) his (XR350) stolen out of the back of my truck, quite a few years ago. found mine in a Drug bust 3 Months later, in a town 35 Miles away. My buddy got his back a year later in a Drug Bust... Mine was in good shape but was taken apart. My buddies XR was kind of a mess... Worst feeling in my Life. No Insurance on either of our Bikes.
I am Glad you got your bike back !!!!!
How did it get stolen in the first place?
bronxborn70 MOTHERFUCKING MAGIC!
bronxborn70 someone took it without permission.
Actually, it just drove itself to someone else.
Dtyler171 love this comment
Dtyler171 lmfaooo I love this
My buddy had his BRAND NEW less that two hours on it cr250r stolen out of his truck in northern Michigan. He had the bike strapped in and chain around the swing arm and rear wheel. These losers literally dragged and carried his bike for over a mile before loading it on a truck/trailer! Never leave your dirt bike unattended unless it is literally cabled and chained to your vehicle.. PERIOD !! These lazy losers are ruthless !
Myself, I chain and cable my 450 to a steel a plate lagged through a 6x6 beam and it ain’t going nowhere unless they got torches !
crazyy!! did he ever get it back??
I would have taken it back, lol no cops needed.
Dude you are so lucky to get it back. I had a 86 kx80 stolen and never saw it again.
had my KDX 200 enduro stolen a couple of years ago! beautiful bike to ride! never got it back tho :(
Niklas Brün did you ever get it back
I’m glad that you got it back in good condition. My husband’s CBR 600 was stolen and totally stripped.
I hate a thief, like they say "Karma is a bitch".
That was pretty stupid of a thief to keep literally every identifying mark on the bike. If the guy sold it for 1500, considering the thief didn't pay a dime, he easily could've repainted the fairings and changed the grips, levers, etc for cheap replacements for like $50
TwinSpinner why would the thief care he still has his money and hasn't been caught
Mac McCracken in this specific situation, yes, but it would be easily possible that like a week later he tried to flip it and it get recognized. If I were a thief, I wouldn't have taken that chance and tried to cover my tracks
TwinSpinner
Smart thief flips it quickly. Doesn't care about ID marks...he's a thief!!
side note; GET A RECEIPT AND A PHOTO OF THE SELLERS ID...if they won't, then something is wrong. Always back track your used purchase!! Especially Craigslist. Especially electronics
So random that I came across this, but I saw the tower and I realize that's Wrentham where I used to ride with my friends.
Glad you got your bike back. Feel bad for the guy that bought it from the thief, but maybe he can sue the thief and have him out in jail.
Maybe I'll see you on the trails this year.
Send this to 6 foot 4 honda dude !
Dante Big boii hughez 6foot4honda* dunno why u put spaces between...
LMAOOOOOOOOOO why do you care about the spaces xD
DeeJayy Stevie my ocd xd 😂😂
Glad you got your bike back brother. 👍👍👍👍
AND THATS WHY YOU NEVER BUY A BIKE WITHOUT A TITLE YOU COULD YOUR MONEY AND YOUR BIKE
Glad you got it back... and all the effort u put into getting it back....
lmao now i have to go check and see if my bike isn't stolen
Lmao right? This shits got me keeping the garage closed 24/7 😂
Make sure you do man! Shit happens pretty easily sadly there are people like that who want to ruin the sport
Amen to that, brother! Glad you got your bike back!
Thats awsome dude!! glad u got it back. 2 STROKE!!!!!
If this was my neighborhood things would have went way differently, lol. Glad you got your bike back man.
Big blessing and win for getting your bike back. Thank God for it. Good deal.
Hi my buddy has a kdx200 and we were wondering where we can purchase the same front fender?
Polisport has a sweet restyled fender, if not acerbis is very nice too. Just buy a kx250f fender and drill holes for yourself
Such a good feeling. I had a mountain bike stolen years ago, insurance paid out and then about a year later the police found it in some drug dealers flat. Got it back! I still have it to this day.
Nice vid. Subbed
You have some good freaking luck. Glad you got your bike back. I'm in Tx bikes here are stolen a lot and end up across the border fast.
this is awesome man. congrats
You was too nice to that dude. If i see someone on my stolen bike i would of held him in a choke hold until the cops got there.
PLM
Police Lives Matter
All lives matter you fuckin twit
Wow that's a great outcome for the owner.. the truth does not Fear investigation.... I'm so glad that you got your bike back.. never buy any bike without a title,, at least a signed contract bill of sale.. many stolen bikes are out there and people default on loans.. let the buyer be wary.. never buy a bike without a title even a dirt bike.. dirt bikes can run ten thousand dollars these days.. also record the serial number off the frame as well as the case and the carborator.. write this down in your manual, all 3 even take pictures.. great post, thank you. God Jesus Christ bless you and your family.. Robert nocera Jr NJ here, xr650l
he wouldn't have ridden off on my bike a second time
glad you got your bike back folk
They should have a compensation for when someone buys a stolen bike.
Joseph Damiano definitely, I felt bad
Sav Daddies Yeah I would as well but fuck it you know? Like when I buy stuff I make sure it isn't stolen. lol. I at least ask for a bill of sale and the I.D. of the person I buy it from. lol. I'd feel terrible still but I'd probably offer to give him like a mini bike or something that isn't to expensive and don't really want.
I feel pretty bad he paid really good money for it but it was completely the Registrations fault, the friggin guy guy the bike registered even though it was in the system as stolen
Sav Daddies wait what? They allowed him to register a stolen bike???? He should sue the police department or government or something.
Yeah he went to get it registered with the fake bill of sale and they gave him a temporary sticker so he wouldve been riding without any problems if i didnt catch him. Won the lottery pretty much
So glad you got it back! Now that you know the guys name from the police report, you need to find out where he lives. Follow him around and I bet you will get the other bike back also. So Awesome you got it!
I enjoyed the video
emjoyed
Caught lol
nice to see a good kid get some redemption, congrats
Another fake recovering my stolen bike video! Awesome!
You have the right to believe whatever you want! As long as you were entertained
*****
My bad lol!
Versus
Now that he replies you turn into a bitch, how funny.
It’s real
Glad you got your bike back man, I would make someone write me a bill of sale and show me id before I paid that much for a bike, because a lot of bikes are being stolen and sold, I ain't about to buy no stolen bike
The guy could still be in trouble for possession of stolen property.
Keaton0801 no he couldn't
Keaton0801 well shit
nathan black why not?
ImNotJoshPotter if he doesn’t know it was stolen, and it was purchased legitimately he can’t be charged but the bike can still be seized, and he can also be sued
This doesn’t even matter though, the video is fake
nathan black but in the Cable Guy Luke Wilson got in trouble for accepting stolen goods from Jim Carrey. Are you telling me movies aren't real???
It seems like it would be hard to prove that someone knew something was stolen in a situation like this.
I love the KDX. I've owned two in my life. They are hands down the best trail bike every. I would lose my mind if mine got stolen.
I just want to point out (and could be completely wrong) that this video could very easily be fake
Jenő Diozeggi its pretty easy not to reply to someone! Your both as bad as each other
Congrats on getting it back! That doesn't happen often.
Tip for bikers find a hidden spot on the bike then write your name so if it gets stolen and you find the bike you have proof that its your by your license and the name on the bike.
So happy you got your bike back.
Is that freetown state forest in mass? Ive went there with my dad. The powerlines are wicked fun!
+AquaticBoardwalkEngineer wow you must be fun at parties
+AquaticBoardwalkEngineer No need for the triple commas. Class dismissed.
Sentinel Sky What the heck dude
DBoy 37 ?
No it's the Franklin State Forest.
Good for you for focusing on the positives about the bike being in good shape and not letting it ruin your day ETC. That's a good mentality to have a happy meaningful life! More than likely he knows more than letting on ask yourself would you buy a bike for 1500 with no title?
When u buy a bike with no paperwork..
I Don't feel bad for him At All
Good for you that's awsome that rarely happens that you get a stolen bike back, keep it inside
if the insurance company pays for a stolen bike and you recover the stolen bike do you have to pay the insurance company back for the new bike?
I'm also curious
nope
Probably not. The insurance company owns the stolen bike. Somewhere in the paperwork, the owner assigned the ownership to the insurance company. The insurance company can sell the recovered bike (even to the owner if he wants it back) to reduce their loss.
Glad you got it back mate.
Where is this. It looks like mass. Fall River or something. Make a video at Atwood track
Ill make another edit for moto soon
Sag Daddies nice bike and you are so cute
Your lucky to get it back in such good condition , when ours was stolen the thief ran into a wall
Did you have to produce any documents to police or was it your word against his kind of a thing. We have offroad titles here.
Bruce Kennedy he never called the police, this video is most likely fake
@@NathanB2002 nah i dont think it is, this guys from my area and he rides with people ik and hes filmed my cousin before racing at capeway
What's weirdly odd is the law that prosecutes those who buy stolen goods, just let this cat walk. He knows the thief. And that's why he was cool about it. Glad you got it back though. My 1974 Ford Gran Torino has yet to surface. Hopefully it comes back restored. haha. But I'm afraid the worst has happened to it though. Gone forever.
did you not have it insured? and did they not pay yu for the theft?
Euan scotland what the fuck does that have to do with anything
Peter Schiotis because if it would belong to the insurance company now.
congrats man I just hope I find my bike one day like that
Dont give up, police really wont do much investigating, youre the best chance
I'm from Massachusetts, I live in taunton
Zyrexel ayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I live in rehoboth
Zyrexel I'm in weymouth. used to hit skaters edge in Taunton all the time
Mad now so many American cities are named after English cities. Taunton is in England and Weymouth is a small bay in England too haha
Zyrexel I'm next door, lakeville
I don't know anything about bikes or anything but thats a SWEEET looking bike
he didnt take his helmet off, clearly he knew it was stolen.
Its because its fake..dats his homie....its entertainment remember. ..u remember
Sweet you got your bike back dude!
Subbed ya
don't feel bad for that dumb dumb he knew it was stolen especially if it didn't come with a title and paid $1500 for it
glad you got your bike back bro
