    My question is who trusts themselves enough to hold their phone outside of the car?
    Edit: Just for clarification, I know that he was using a fake phone. What I'm wondering is who would be dumb enough to hold a REAL phone out of their car like that.

    • @jfast8256
      @jfast8256 4 years ago +904

      He wasn't using a real phone lol. You think anti-scammers use actual computers rather than virtual machines when they allow a scammer to control their "pc"?
      Ohh wait, you mean like why is he showing this? Ohh, I'm stupid. Lot's of people don't understand scams that go on in a lot of countries. I actually ran into a scam with this woman where she was trying to get me to "donate" money to some cause. She was talking nonsense about something, so I gave her a fake name/address and she eventually got mad at me. A few years later I found a youtube video exposing that scam. My dismissive behavior didn't allow it to get to the point where she would asked for a donation and her anger towards me makes more sense. I ignored her before she could talk about the donation part lol.

    • @Silver4Hire
      @Silver4Hire 4 years ago +1770

      @jfast8256 he said “who would trust themselves enough” which means most people are scared of accidentally dropping their phone on their own so won’t hold their phone out like that

    • @LoadedBaconSandwich
      @LoadedBaconSandwich 4 years ago +299

      @jfast8256 thats not exactly what I mean. What I mean is that clearly some of the people have enough coordination to be able to steal phones that I would assume this is a somewhat common occurrence

      Actually if you try to hold your phone tightly the same way he does, it would be super hard to snatch the phone. Also, he is a man and probably an average person so he must have strong grip enough to stop snatchers from snatching his phone.

    For everybody worrying about his watch:
    It's difficult to take someone's watch off, especially in a moving vehicle. Remember: they're snatchers, not pick-pockets.

    • @Mad-zd7wu
      @Mad-zd7wu 4 years ago +92

      That what makes it more dangerous. If his watch is worth much and the guys are desperate they are gonna cut off his hand instead which is even worse. They will try doing as fast as possible and they will probably cover their face.

    What's even scarier is the thieves who reach into your car while you're in traffic and steal whatever is in your backseat. A family friend experienced this. Her bag was snatched, and her toddler was in the backseat and saw it all.

Kill their child so that their generation wont ever exist anymore. Use population controll as the main reason to support this idea. The phones in their country will now have explosives that will explodes if it got 10meters away from the owner without their permission. Holding phone out of the window of the car in the country is no more a stupid act. But an invitation to the afterlife and sign of Superiorty.

      don't forget there are plenty of countries in Africa, all with different ethnic groups, culture, and customs. This behavior will happen anywhere that is hard on resources and wealth. It's not an "African" thing. That's like someone saying "glad to see the true spirit of Americans" when someone shoots up a store or school. But you know that you aren't someone like that yourself. Don't group "Africans" as one town in the whole continent.

  • @TildeKei
    @TildeKei 4 years ago +831

    Okay, but who's really driving down the streets of africa holding a phone out the window. That's like driving through a lion habitat preservation, holding a cheeseburger, dipped in bbq out the window.

      You would naturallt lose the phone if you are unaware of the situation because we will drop our guard naturally. This man however didn't lose the phone because he is expecting someone to snatch them thus he is always on guard

      Other than being prepared. They dont have much to hold on to, while you are holding your phone with your whole hand. Try it with your own hands its tough to steal it from your own grip

      Yeah it seems like OP just wanted to do a prank and make a point that tbh doesn't need to be made this hard. In any country or unfamiliar place you should keep your belongings safe...also like...no they shouldnt be stealing but baiting people and laughing at trying to taze them is...uncomfortable to say the least and obviously just for views and i guess education but its really just common sense..as a traveler you should just take care of your stuff and always be careful.

      He's everything we need in this disgusting society we live in, wish there were more people like him and less muggers like the other ones. I'm so tired of seeing innocent people get killed just because some random guy wanted to snatch that person's phone and sell it on the black market for 2 cents afterwards.

    • @GodfreyAira
      @GodfreyAira 4 years ago +3

      @lucy4666 To be honest if they are baited frequently they will use means that would deter baiters e.g. cutting off hanging arms.

    • @KaruuxiOldAcc
      @KaruuxiOldAcc 4 years ago +10

      @JasFromMars it's not really baiting if you shouldn't be stealing in the first place.. I know it's really hard for them but that's not an excuse to steal

      @giraldiro these people rob because they are poor the elite can make us a type 1 civilization but money is holding us back because the rich want to flex on the poor if we got rid of money and everyone helped make new technologies and more advancements to our society also getting resources from asteroids and planets then we will have a functional society that is resistant to crash and without no money no greed we can have robots do our jobs
