Thanks for the simple instructions. I have found, when taking the print head fans off, that the easiest way to deal with the heat sink and it's little washers is to using masking/painters tape, and just tape the whole thing together once unscrewed.
Thanks, picked up a few tips!
I think you've just helped me solve a problem that's been intermittent in my borrowed printer since I got it ten days ago :D.
It didn't manifest fully until I've tried to do a large-ish print with silk PLA and I found the right extruder nozzle raking the supports; even going as far as bumping the bed downward just on the first layer.
Appreciate you taking the effort to document this. I have a Flashforge Inventor with a very similar extruder module.
Edit: seems to have resolved it. Now I need a better solution for the 1kg spool I have that won't fit internally. Filament snagged and pulled it from the extruder so I ended up printing about 8h of air overnight.
Thanks so much for putting this video together. This is by far, the best I've seen for aligning the nozzles. I'm finally able to use both again, after giving up on using the left one a long time ago.
Thanks very much, really appreciate the attention to camera placement and angles.
Thank you. Simple explanation. I have a Flash Forge Creator Pro, but your directions allowed me to level nozzles. Keep it simple gets it done
Very straight forward. About as simple as can be done. Thank you.
"it's just to provide a more ev........ and I dropped one" XD
Thanks for the video! How do I access the screw to adjust the left nozzle? The fan on the left side prevents me from removing the stepper on that side!
Worked great when leveling the dual extruders on my Monoprice Inventor. The rear screw is a setscrew that is quite far inside the threaded hole, so dont expect to see an actual screw head.
Thank you so much for this most helpful video. You are very clear in your explanations, and this was a much simpler procedure than what the internet will have yoh believe. Thanks for showing that to us.
My pleasure
@@EmeraldMeadows If I may trouble you for a question. I tried the procedure, but upon removing the tiny screw at the back, was still unable to lower the nozzle. I tried to pull it down with both my hand and with a spanner but no luck. Any guidance you may be able to offer is most appreciated, thank you.
Thank you for this!!! Found it just when I need it!!
glad it helped
Thanks for the instructions. Are they usefull for Creator Pro also, please?
Hi there, and thank you for this video. Seems like a much easier fix than other recommendations I've seen elsewhere. I'm attempting this alteration on my new Creator Pro.
One request please: You mentioned that you would also show a picture of that rear screw that adjusts the elevation. Could you follow through on that? Since that is the key to all the adjustments and it can't be seen in the video.
Thanks!
I think its the image at the very start of the video in the upper left corner of the screen.
Ah yes! I didn't even realize it was there in the beginning! Thank you for catching that.
Upper right hand corner at the start of the video. I couldn't see it for a minute as well.
This is something I've had on my to-do list for year+ now and gonna try it any day now (Flashforge Inventor 1/dual head). But there is something I don't understand in this video.
4:12 - There are screws you can loosen up which will actually raise and lower the nozzle
4:54 - Loosen the screw for the nozzle in right, lower it down ............. you're gonna tighten the nozzle.
In 4:12 loosening the screws will rise/lower okay, but in 4:54 I'll have to finally tighten everything - Doesn't it go out of adjustment if I have loosened it to rise or lower it?
Or are there two screws, one for adjusting and another for locking it up after adjusting?
