Hey Yo Baron there be a game called Trench Warfare 1914 its like Command of war but pixelated and it has a campaign, story mode, and creative AND you can place where the trenchs are and place bunkers and flags and you can also play as different.nations so i highly recommend

I think a fine addition to a WW1 trench game would be an underground tunnel system, let me explain myself.
To dig a tunnel underground you would have to put ressources in it. So you would weaken your Frontline by digging because you don't spend the same amount of ressources on it. When the tunnel is reach the other side of the Map, wich take considerable amount of Time and ressources, you have a protected route to the ennemy's last trench and basically you win. And when you start digging, or maybe a little after, the ennemy will notice that your digging and will have like a bar that show your progress on the tunnel and is like a Doomsday clock. Obviously you could decide to stop spending ressources on the tunnel if you want, but that would put you at a disadvantage. So digging a tunnel would be a risky investment, and the ennemy would have to capitalize on the fact that you are gonna be weaker on the front and launch an attack before you finish your tunnel.
Just an Idea I got, use it as you want

It was weirdly unbalanced.
Once the enemy know you were going for the tunnel, they just rush you as they have more money than you.
Even if you stop the construction, it will not stop your handicap of not having enough resources to defend yourself since you devoted on useless tunnel that only works after tunnel is completed.
There will be only one strategy left if that happen.
Perhaps you could invest a little at the beginning to start the tunnel, but it would REALLY slow, and to speed up the construction, you could hire workers. And instant win doesn't sound fair, I think you should like be able to blow up a trench by setting off a charge under it, killing everyone inside and permanently getting rid of it, but again, it would be really long to build if you dont spend everything on it. Also, the enemy could build tunnels of its own, and send troops in like they would do during WW1 to clear it out.

You talked about this somewhat in the last video about certain countries having unique abilities or troops, but I just had a few ideas for what some of those might be:
Russia: unique troop; Siberian conscript: has -30% health and -30% accuracy, however is 50% the cost of a rifleman.
Germany: Unique troop; Storm trooper: is equipped with the same gun as the SMG troop, however has 1-3 stick grenades (depends on how powerful they are) as well as a gas mask which gives them resistance to gas attacks. Also maybe increased health and/or research that allows you to give them new/better equipment?
France: if no one else can construct fortifications for the trenches; (barbed wire, sandbags, etc.) then the French can, however if others can construct fortifications then the French get a more powerful fortification, maybe a small bunker or something, (potential weakness to explosives?) but perhaps this couldn’t be constructed in the middle trenches, only the back two? (Or something like that.)
Britain: So maybe at the start of the game the British, when they call in troops, only get 50% of what anyone else would get, but the troops have +30% stats across the board. As the game continues, the amount of what they get for calling in troops increases, but the stat buff decreases. The other thing the British could have is (possibly?) being able to get a tank out faster than any other nation, or maybe a special ability that requires a large amount of intel but allows you to call in a bunch of French soldiers to help you out.

I feel like what would make this game really interesting would be a changeable landscape that changes due to explosive fire and other things due to what happens in game and the bodies should stay for a long long time if not indefinitely
The Renault FT is basically the father of all the tanks that cale after it, it wasn't the father of the tank, that was the MKI, but it is the father of tanks as we know 'em, with rotating turrets and tracks. But the Renault FT wasn't used in trench assault like in this game, it was use for scouting, flanking manouvers and exploiting weaknesses in ennemy trenches. But the MKI was used for trench charging like in this game, but quite frankly it is not as cool as the FT.
And the first ever deployment of tanks on the Battlefield was at the battle of the Somme, to a limited extenct, but the first battle beetween tanks was at Villiers-Bretonneux, a little village, it was beetween british MKIVs and germans A7V. The battle wasn't that great because neither of these tanks were made to destroy other tanks but it still happened and the germans lost 1 A7V to a tank to tank engagement. At my knowledge the Renault FT didn't fight in tank battles because it only had a machin gun as its main weapon, but in WW2 it engage in tank battles After having some modifications.

Try trench war 1917. It has a lot of the features that you talked about but it’s a mobile game with a great campaign and a sandbox mode too
You should play Warfare 1917 it’s the same thing be super realistic and it’s amazing. And I really want to see you play this!
Here are some ideas of mine. Unit: a sapper/engineer that could upgrade friendly trench’s trap no mans land and remove trench upgrades would be pretty cool. Here are some ideas for upgrades and traps. Trench upgrades: sandbags. If not already applied to the trench sandbags could be added to the trench. These would decrease the chance of the soldiers in the trench being shot. Trench upgrades: pillboxes that can be placed on the top middle or bottom of the selected trench could house multiple units drastically decreasing there chances of being shot at the cost of range. Trench upgrades: tunnels. Tunnels that lead from one trench to another would have a game changing effect. Of course the longer the tunnel goes the more costly it will be to build it. No mans land trap: AP mines would be costly but well worth the cost to blow up unsuspecting infantry. Of course these would have almost no effect whatsoever on vehicles. No mans land trap: barbed wire that instead of instantly killing would slow down infantry trying to cross no mans land. Additionally it would have a chance to make infantry bleed a slow death. No mans land trap: anti tank mines unlike most traps cannot be built but instead can only spawn naturally. Unit upgrades: the ability to customize your troops would be outstanding. Here are some ideas for upgrades. Unit upgrade: costly gas masks that make units impervious to gas attacks would surely be a life saver. Unit upgrade: bayonets would allow units to jump into trench’s with units already in them. Taking the enemy off guard they would stab the non bayonet possessing enemy’s to death. Unit upgrade: camouflage that makes units ever so slightly less likely to get shot would be especially great for key players like machine gunners. Unit upgrade: grenades that units could throw ever so often into trench’s would renovate the idea of smg and shotgun soldiers. A renovated campaign mode in which you go mission through mission upgrading your tech tree upgrading soldiers and unlocking entirely new units would be awesome.

I think it would be a good mobile game basically everything that is in this game but including the World War 1 Wonder Weapons like the world war one German tank finished after the war and the British tadpole the only difference with beat the tanks that you can control them by clicking on them.

We need to add a mechanic where you can upgrade trenches x10 to defend second upgrade another times 10 and machine gunners will get a nest if they are in the trench and the third upgrade would get a final times 10 and add sniper shields and emplacements around snipers if in the trench but there would be a downside by Machine gunners and snipers getting a range Nerf and cannot cover a full Belfield but only a Limited area does that sound OP or not I am open to comments.
