Baron, do you see like the nearly invisible square box toward the left of your trench? Click on it, you can actually get upgrades such as consistent mortar fire or reduction in troops deployment time. I don't think you explored that yet

This game is abandoned by the devs around late 2016 due to lack of funds and supports on its kickstarter. The final version is the v5 version, which can't be downloaded as it is "private". You can still download the v4 version though.

Funnily enough, that was actually a common practice on the Western Front in real life. Major assaults on the enemy trenches tend to be preceded by massive artillery bombardments. For example, the British bombardment on the German positions at the Somme lasted a full week before the assault was launched.
@@Chen-pn9tu I know. I've heard about it.
Tip: the enemy will always target ur good soldier (MG, sniper, officer bla bla bla) there's a bit of delay on the artillery so choose ur most important soldier and move away from their position so they wont get killed in the artillery.
Finally this game is back I've always been waiting to see more of this
I think a trench defense game should explore some of the advanced fortresses that were used during WW1. Or have some different maps like shore defense and mountain warfare. Both of which were pretty brutal. I also think that adding a fortress, or bunker building element should be explored.

Where can i download the game ?
You have to be on pc and maybe Mac but if you type on chrome “command of war” you will see the download demo and then put it in your applications place or what ever you windows people do and there!

2:30, i think so aswell, if you could make it 3d, and maybe make it so you can add defences as well, such as Anti tank guns and bunkers.
2:28 there is this mobile game called trenchwarfare 1917 which is like this game and there is a mode where you can build different trenches and bunkers to defend against the allies or central powers
