awesome video as i love them old style bobbers, I have a 1988 sportster that I'm getting ready to hard tail. Watching your videos helps me come up with a plan as to what i want to do and go with it.👍
Again Great video. I really enjoy your attention to detail. Keep up the good work. Very good tutorial, you seem to be very natural at producing and editing your videos. A very good flow without being too wordy. That is very difficult to do and still make it informative.
Thanks, I like to make my videos as short as possible and still get the point across. I see a lot of videos that need to get to the point sooner. Thanks for your support!
Nice work modifying the gastank.. I have a 2.5 gallon flat bottom Frisco tank on my sportster with the 8 overs.. I like the high tank look, but damn you made that one look clean by sinking the tunnel and dropping it on the back bone..
@@ChucksCycles well the bike certainly does look low and mean.. I assume your gonna use drag bars or something similar? I'd hate to see you ruin that low and mean look with apes lol... or rabbit ears...
@@ChucksCycles good lol.. I'd like to build a yami xs650 hardtail bobber someday but old xs650's go for sportster money up here and I'm to broke to build a harley big twin of any vintage hahaha
Like the higher tunnel of the gas tank to the frame of the back bone one question how much of the modifications to the tank did it take away from the total amount of gas that can be put in the tank for cruising and riding although the tank looks great after modified I watched the video a couple of times looking how to stretch the tank hear and there to get the fuel back to the tank other than that it's just how I am very cool
super projet magnifique travail 1 abonné de la France ✌

I like the high tanks on a bike with extended forks. This bike is going to be low and mean so I wanted the tank low also.

SPORTSTERS RULE!!!
🤘😎🤘
I used a Bikers Choice stretched custom tank on my 2006 Sportster and it looks much better than a sportster tank.......
Put some big split tanks on it make it look like an old one
Be nice to know the before and after gas capacity of the tank.

What is the lenght of that springer from lower end of tripple three to center of the axle ?
What hardtail set up did you use?
Awesome. Looking forward to this. I have a 2006 so I’m interested to see what you do. Which hardtail kit did you use?
Its a LedSled. Ive got several projects going on but Is like to make a lot of progress on this one soon. Thanks for watching.
What guage of sheet metal did you use? Looks like 18 or 20
Did you solid mount the engine?
No its got stock motor mounts
Whats the take on rubber mounted sportster vs 2003 and older?
Not sure yet. This is the first rubber mount Ive built. Ive done several older ones, great bikes. Id say these are just as good. We'll see.
3:45 Nice fuckin' shirt
Where's that tank from?
Vtwin
