Hey, my name is Chuck and I build a lot of cool bikes in my shop. I mainly mess with old Harleys but occasionally you'll see something different. I've been building bikes for over a decade. In my shop I do everything from repairs to custom fab work and machining. If you share a love for old bikes and parts, follow along!!

Primary chain adjuster on backwards " Fat to the BACK!"
I run 8 over on a 40 degree neck custom framed built 80 evo. Everyone tells me how bad it must ride... and i ride more than they do on their land yachts. I also run a 180 bagger rear tire at 12 lbs pressure with full pressure front. Its not for everyone.
I don't have much experience with bike building but I've built other stuff. I'm guessing long front end choppers don't land in the sweet spot for trail?
Hey Chuck great Video!! Understand i right the lids are changeable? I have a have a pre 52 transmission on my panhead but i really like to have a ratchet top Fx for it.. is this possible? Thanks for help!
Hi! What type of worktools you used in min 26:01 (the yellow one) thank you
Minuti 26:48 the little yellow
Can i get the model number for the voes? Just want to make sure im matching up. Stoked to find this as my tssm went out. Found a 98 cover and running twin tec 1005 on my 2005 883
What was the " Fonz " riding ? 😂
What is the lenght of that springer from lower end of tripple three to center of the axle ?
Seems like it would over bind by threading the bolts in, I like the idea of sleeving to tighten the space but still allowing it to move. But I'm a concrete guy that don't know crap about doing the bad azz stuff you do
I've got the exact same bike sitting in my basement
The instructions state: "2) Discard the hub nut lock washer and Bearing Plate Ring. They are not needed with the *Tamer* application." How'd the clutch work out using 1 less friction disc and 1 less steel?
super projet magnifique travail 1 abonné de la France ✌
Why do you figure end play in middle not end? You add spacer it moves bearing away from race then it no longer sits on race properly. From outside of one bearing to outside of other bearing is a matched factor end play is outside not inside matched factor other wise why do you buy matching bearing - race. Are my machine omg skills not correct?
What book u use mine 92 sport rear wheel but same wheel it looks ... vid I just watch says 3-6 that y I ask which book u use
3-6 sportster rear wheel 92 and I think dyna
I noticed i got one missing spoke on my rear harley wheel , question is can i just add that extra one spoke & tighten it and good to go ... Without doing any alignment? Thanks
Hi there mate. Thankyou for the really great walk through video. Mi friend and I have been up against the same Tom foolery ignition trouble and looking to do the same. Now we know the solution. Many thanks and look forward to seeing the follow up. Best wishes, Jase.
Bad ass. Is that a stock drum brake? How well does it work for stopping? Was looking at those minis and they say don’t use to stop
Does anybody know where I can find one of these cover? I have an 05 xl1200c but I've scoured the internet for a cover like this but no luck. Am I over looking it somehow or are they just hard to find? Thanks!!
That’s nice
how did you get that initial nut off to get to the clutch gear
I just came across this video and it's 3 years old how's that front end holding up
Pauchco is the way I would go... $ 2,000 no way in hell would I pay that much for that... Liked your video, thanks... CrazyHorse Speed Shop NJ. usa
Thanks for the review, great job!
Think the aftermarket spring is Cannonball for anyone asking
Good info intelligently explained!
Why in the world would you make a video when you don't have any idea what you are doing...ridiculous
Good job! Got this video recommended just after I saved an OEM rear hub which was trashed because some idiot used stainless steel screws for the sprocket. Of course the stupid stainless screws let go. All the holes were banana-ized. Luckily I was able to line ream the sprocket holes to the flange to accept 12mm Allen bolts. It worked out absolutely perfect. Super snug fit, no play at all. Greetings from Germany!
So I take it that my trail at 8.5 is not except able? That's probably why my bike handles like crap! Thanks for your video it surely is appreciated.
Enjoyed the build, but it's strange that you did not do a video of the completed UVL Project.
😎👍😎
💥👍👍👍
I would have Tig welded the frame and they would better than this messy job.
Thank you, I like the option of doing it off the bike. I found it more accurate
What back fender is that? The struts look very similar to what comes with the Lowbrow rogue fender... But the fender itself looks different? Or did you just chop that rogue fender?
Great demo, thanks!
Great video ! could i put a points/condenser plate in there instead of the electronics ? .
Mine is a xlch electric start and kick start
Mine just sets at the house and collected dust
Measure axle tenths to compare to trans mount
Everyone wants to know why Sugar Bear springers handle easily and you can ride a long & low chopper with 1 hand @ 70mph.. it's due to the trail number. This is why when ordering one he wants the rake and stretch of your frame and he builds it to those numbers. He has said the magic number he aims for in interviews that he's done..
Great! Very informative. thanks
Great onfo 👋👋👋👋✌️👍👍👍
I had a loud screeching noise every time I'd engage the clutch after shifting. All I did was the bearing conversion, and it fixed the problem immediately.
wow that bike is perfect 😳😍
I just found this channel so im glad its back! Great videos.
Some of those old frames were left overs from previous years and Harley bent them in purpose they are pretty rare
Man i love that bike. Color is really good.
Cool man!
YAY CHUCK!!!
Good stuff
