  • I beam forks are easy to get mixed up. They are too expensive to take a chance on not knowing what you are buying. Here I try to discuss the major differences between R,D & W models, V models, as well as aftermarket forks.

Great video. Can you tell us who makes the aftermarket springer that you documented? Can you recommend a good aftermarket springer? Cheers

What about the late model springer forks? For example, my uncle has the last year model 2014 softail springer.

Hello Chuck . Great video . I have an issue that needs more attention on my 34 RL project. It has outside rockers and a big twin brake star hub. My front fork has undrilled ride control bosses The stem is 8 1/16 " long approximately ,7/8"diameter and is factory. No cut off and a new stem welded in , which I was fearing. I am thinking/ hoping it is early servi car front end. I have a J. Sells manual and not a lot is discussed but it shows casting number on front leg. Where is the casting number on the rear leg ? Thank you for any response

Hi! I have an Evo FXST with standard 21" front wheel. I allways wanted to mount an springer front end. What springer length should I use? Thank you!

There is an replica of the FXSTS springer made in the US. Could be the thing. Also for better look and possibly handledning there is replacement parts for the top of the FXSTS springer that gives it a little more rake.
