This is my favorite of the early episodes. Love the horror, love the humor, and Wendy is a really fun character. I definitely had the Lamby Lamby song stuck in my head for weeks!
The scene where Stan watches The Duchess Approves is so relatable. For as long as I could remember, I avoided TV dramas like the plague; believing they'd be stupid like Melrose Place or like 90210. But then, I saw the trailers for ABC's Once Upon A Time and felt genuinely intrigued. On the night it premiered; I sat down, watched it and came out a fan (just like Stan did with the movie) Now, I own every season on DVD
this episode reminds me of Poltergeist but it's in a convenient store instead of a suburban house built on a graveyard. plus seeing Dipper crush on Wendy is adorable but sad because Wendy is older than Dipper.
