@EngineeredAnglerLures, Frank, I'm an angler when I can and an engineer when I can't; for someone like me, an aspiring lure maker - your videos the best out there. From a technical aspect, no one comes close to the content you produce. I know you're targeting fish down south and your builds reflect that, but so much is still applicable to building lures anywhere in the world. You're an inspiration to people like me and an asset to the fishing community. Please keep posting your builds; the rest of us have more to learn!

Hey Frank, I'm an avid fisherman who retired about a year ago. One of my hobbies has been 3D printing. I'm still an amateur but I've started to print and make a few lures. Have watched a couple of your videos and appreciate the time you take to explain the important engineering concepts related to making lures. Congratulations Franco, well deserved! I have been following for a long time now and i just love your atention to detail. The boat rebuild is looking good and if i may ask a question about that... in your original build you also did a sprayfoam test checking it if it would take on water (wich it didnt) now i am not sure if you used it in your first build but i was wondering, if you did how did it held up after 3 years? I am curently in the process of rebuilding my tiny 14 foot boat.

New to the channel but already addicted to it. I've always been a bit of a tackle junkie and recently thought about trying to make a custom lure myself. I see some great information here and you really break down the science behind the lure. Starting out designing a personal lure, do you have a recommended path or video sequence to get started? Appreciate the content and congrats on 40k.
Watch the master classes mixed in with the disign/build videos. The master classes will give you theory for your design and the builds will show you techniques for working the materials and painting. Welcome to the channel feel free to ask questions, I try my best to answer the questions as they come up. Best bit of advice I can give you is to just get started even if you're only half ready. Good luck and have fun with it.
Off subject- but, I've been having airbrush problems and I thought of what I think is a good video topic. I noticed that different brands of airbrush paint work better then others in my brush. I also found out that size matters. Anyway, maybe you could do a video on various paints, thinning and nozzle sizes that work for you.

I actually sold some as art and decoration!!. This winter I'm trying to make some RUclips videos and now I REALLY appreciate what you are doing as I think you make some great videos.
