Are we going to not notice that after the Boss said all of 5 of us? It began raining and the Sorrow just shows up. The Boss almost acknowledges his ghost, by saying "It's raining blood... Is he crying?" The Boss' presence is what attracted and brought back The Sorrow.
maybe it was ocelot the one crying after being defeated, after all the sorrow and the boss are their fathers
5 are there - The Boss, The Fear, The Pain, The End and The Fury. Fury is there too but does not speak, he's sitting beside The End. That makes 5.
Not notice? I think we all noticed when the game came out over ten years ago
And also notice The Sorrow spirit act like an actual ghost (I'm implying how the media commonly depict ghost behaviour is actually innacurate)

Forgot how realistic the healing was in this game, to thisday I haven't seen another game like this. And so creative, their so many things for survival, I haven't seen anything like this and the fact that you can be creative with what you got like you can stop a wound from bleeding by burning it with your cigar, remove bullets qith your knife and if left alone it won't just heal up and will be taking life little by little but even if you eat food for HP it could even be stumped and you can't heal up with food (oh and allot of creativity in the food too, even starts to go foul) until you treat the wound even disinfect. I want a survival game with some of the mechanics from mgs3, that be pretty cool to play, and hard

This is the start of a long road of pain and betrayal for Naked Snake.
Hideo Kojima is a visionary and one of the greatest minds of our era. Every goddamn game has surpassed the other in some way, yet the originals still hold their own. I'm a 90s child, so MGS 1 was a classic, but the run from MGS 2, Snake Eater, and Guns of the Pats was insane.
MGSV belongs Here as well. It was Kojimas best writing.

Always kinda annoyed me how all the Cobras are there to welcome the Boss back, but Fury's just sorta sitting there in the corner doing nothing. I'd be interesting to see a spinoff comic showing the whole team before the events of this game
Apparently Kojima wanted to make a game about the Cobras during WW2 but they talked him out of it

I more recently heard that whatever that game was going to be inevitably turned into Phantom Pain, although I don't know how true that is.
the funny thing is, if this was kinda real and shokolov was the only person that could build a nuclear tank for the russian , instead of a rescue mission it would be a "find a kill the man" mission
Doubt it because the Americans would want him. Just as they wanted nazi scientists and helped some escape. Why would you kill the only man who could give you the upper hand? It would definitely be a rescue mission. This isn’t someone with info they’re going to leak to be silenced. He just hold the knowledge of engineering such a thing.

Depends, sometimes the US/USSR is desperate for advanced weapons research, like when both countries snatched top nazis and make them work on rockets
@@UnsungAces sure but extracting two men from behind enemy lines isn’t an easy thing to do. Better to just kill him and destroy his notes than let a weapon that could upset the balance of power that severely be potentially built.

I'm always happy to suspend my disbelief for a MGS game, after all they always go really off the wall. Despite that, weirdly, what bothered me wasn't that a guy could control all those hornets, but that they could fly in a helicopter's downdraft lol.

Idk why you would question something that exists irl. Beekeepers have existed for years now probably way before the game came out the only reasonable question would have been the bees flying while under the helicopter

The closest I could find is “Cobras in the Jungle” but it’s is slightly different. It’s the music that plays throughout this scene. The music in the codec call I think is just slightly changed
We first meet The Boss at the beginning of the game over the Radio. We would assume that she's there to be your support during the Virtuous Mission as a minor character. Then, we encounter her at the bridge. From that alone, we can tell that something is different here.
She was a good guy the entire time. Volgin nuking Sokolov's research facility is what turned her into a sacrificial lamb. Remember, her "defection" was fraudulent so she could steal the Philosophers' Legacy, steal info on Soviet Weapons Research, and sabotage Soviet Weapons facilities. She nuked Grozny Grad too.
Also, I think when EVA gave Snake that custom 1911A1 and Mk. 22 Tranquilizer Gun, she got them from The Boss. I think both those pistols were her's. She was helping Snake in many subtle ways the entire time.
They should make this into a movie

Man, I wish there was either a comic series or a prequel game with The Cobras. If it was a game, I could imagine it being like a squad game where you could control all six of the Cobra members on missions against the Nazis. But a comic would be cool as well.

The metal gear series were absolutely goofy as hell but it was in the delivery and the style that was presented thst made this series seem cool but also feel way ahead of it’s time.

loved the game. the lip synching or whatever you call it was horrible. it didn't look like they were talking at all. they looked like puppets with no mouths.
Volgin and Ocelot are so goddamn stupid in this game. We should have just spent more time fighting the Cobras.

I’m surpassed that in this age of female centric media, Konami haven’t made a metal gear telling The Bosses story.
Apparently Kojima wanted to make another prequel about the Cobras during WW2 around the time MGS4 came out but Konami or someone else didn't allow it, or something

The most interesting character in my opinion is the fiery because he went to outer space and which he saw was fury because he saw the world was an absolute lie I remember his eyes looking more enraged and the reason why he doesn't say anything is because he's focusing all his rage on protecting the team and if he ever says anything they'll know he's not the same because of the nanotechnology they said to them pick a fate that helps you fight the fiery was able to see everything that was going on on Earth with nanotechnology and when he saw all the rape and murder and that made him in raged and with enough rage that turns into fiery the fury truly hate life the only reason he's alive was that he can truly make a difference by executing

@@worlds_greatest_detective6667 first of all you wouldn't be paying 70 bucks in the first place and second of all getting a whole new cast would be pointless because you can just have the old cast come back but with higher-definition graphics better lip-syncing and perhaps give a performance better suited to whatever tone they're going for in the newer one they don't need to get a different cast this isn't Metal Gear Solid 5 this is Metal Gear Solid 3 and it's not a remaster it's a remake

it is soothing and calm, a voice you would expect from a person code named "the joy" and snake's mentor. her voice is what made her death so dramatic and sad
