      "with lifetime transferable warranties"
Not anymore. The warranty now only applies to the original owner.

Hank; Thank you for what has to be one of the best You Tube videos I've ever watched. Thanks to the Kel Tec family for letting us get an experience of what has to be the American dream. A few years ago at Shot Show, when Kel Tec was introducing the KSG and Barack Obama was doing his nonsense, I talked to one of the Kel Tec machinists who had worked for another gun mfg. In the area. He was genuinely concerned about the problems Washington was creating at the time, as Kel Tec was just in the process of expansion. I asked him how he liked working for Kel Tec and he genuinely stated that it was a wonderful company to work for. Good luck to Kel Tec and their continued success.

I just bought my Kel-Tec CMR-30 rifle. It was apparently the only one at the local gun show, the dealer did not replace it with another on display 5 hours later. I had already checked ever pawn shop and gun store within 25 miles, none. I cleaned it overnight and fired it next day. I had no problems except those caused by a failure to properly load the magazine. I added a short scope, a 3x9 at 40 mm. I 'zeroed in' using a barrel laser and a few shots at 25, 50, and 100 yards, maximum available space. I was very pleased. I added a homemade carbon fiber forward hand grip. I will add a white light and perhaps a laser for close counter.
It is a very well made rifle and is much fun as well as a serious weapon. Recoil is straight rearward, allowing quick access to target again. I do recommend a firm pull-in grip to shoulder. When firing from a non-shouldered position it handles very well. Instinct shooting at close range is very attainable. The 22 WMR at 40 grains was a good choice for this rifle. I had no misfires and only a few failure to fires. I began at 20 rounds in each mag. Fired 400 rounds for the day. I want to thank Kel Tec for making a fine rifle. I have fired a few other of their guns and riles, but not a bull pup as yet.

I just bought my first Kel Tec. PLR 16. Love it. I was going to build an AR pistol when my gun dealer said let me show you something... Yeah worth every penny so far.
Also as a plant manager of a small manufacturing company it is nice to see a company with American manufacturing and happy employees. I have had the privilege to tour several places (non-firearms related) and when employees take pride in a place they work (like they seem to at Kel Tec) it is very nice to see.
    Good Video Hank

Great video! It really shows an entirely new view of KELTEC. I know of a lot of people who are mad because they cannot find their guns, but this video show that they are trying to meet the demand by growing, R&D, and the quality of employees that they have. Thanks, subbed. Long Live the Republic

Last night, one of my best friends bought one of the few Burnt Bronze PMR-30s; beautiful piece. He has owned a PMR-30 (black) and a Sub 2000, and I like the way they feel and fire After watching this entire video, I know my next pistol will be a Tungsten PMR-30. The care you all take in making your products is amazing! I'm hooked!

When i first bought my P11 it had feeding & extraction issues, ammo was near impossible to find at the time, so it took me over a year to get a few hundred rounds through it. After determining it was definitely not a break in issue I sent it in for repair & I have loved it ever since, & after a few range trips I completely trust it now. Thanks for an awesome affordable product! I own 2 reliable compact 9's now for less money than it would have cost me for 1 glock

Sweet! I've waited 7 months for my PLR-16 (and it was well worth it). Very glad to see them upping production. I had heard great things about the PLR-16, watched many videos and was sold after one of our SWAT trainers was raving about it's functionality and ease of use for cornering and clearing buildings. After 29 weeks, I finally can say from first hand experience that she's everything she's been touted to be. Great share, Hank

Came across your channel today for the first time and saw this keltec tour. Been thinking about a p11 or pf9 for concealed carry in the summer months, something a little smaller than my 26. Was about 75 percent sold after watching sootch00 videos on both of them but this put me over the top. Fantastic video and hats off to keltec for giving you the tour. It's great to see the human side off this companies and I like the somewhat relaxed atmosphere, keltec t-shirts and I do believe all those folks enjoy working there. I saw one comment to picnic like or something like that, make no mistake about it, those people are working hard and everybody's work gets checked right on down the line. They have had problems in the past but they are striving to be top notch and getting that new certification proves that. But most gun manufacturers have had issues at some point, even glock with the gen 4's, Springfield had the recall on the xd-s and the list goes on. Besides, you gotta have faith in a guy leading you around with a rifle slung over his shoulder. I love the out of the box thinking in a lot of their guns too, sub 2000 is pretty cool and on my bucket list, hopefully they will get geared up and be able to keep up with demand. Glad you kept pestering Chad about doing this tour. Most of the videos I watch on RUclips are all very good, most are on firearms as I am kinda new to semi-auto pistols, old wheel gun guy so I watch to learn, but this one is up there with the best of them. You have provided some insight into the name keltec, and I think that counts for something. Good job Hank!

I like Kel-Tec's innovation, and the fact that they're American-made, and most of the employees are just regular everyday folks! Makes me want to support the company!
Also impressed that they're now ISO-certified... I know that Kel-Tec has not really had a rep for ultimate quality, but this makes me optimistic that they're doing their best to improve things!
I am currently in the market for a KSG, which is what led me to your channel, Hank.

Thanks. They're on GunBroker for $739 Buy-It-Now, so, not a killer deal, but acceptable. So, the prices have come down now that the factory has stepped up production.
Just ordered a set of Magpul BUIS II sights and one of the Kel-Tec hand stops for the front of the pump. Almost everyone puts a vertical grip on, but I like the low-profile, compact nature of the shotgun as-is, so I'm going to see how I like it like that first.
Also a side rail to mount my TLR-1S and a barrel lug tool. Trying to decide if I want to mount a muzzle device; again, I like the short length of the gun, and hate to add any length to it.

This is nice. Because I kept thinking about putting maybe an action scene into a gun factory in a James Grider novel but I had no idea what they are like. What I will need to do is write a novel where this enemy of the state James Grider with his Wykkdik of Fhekris is stealing firearms and giving them away to mentally ill people who the law might be forbidding from owning firearms otherwise. James Grider is like this pro-school shooter kid. Then there is a villain who has an Infucknal Device that allows his hand to project an energy blade and he is running about destroying guns in gun stores and gun factories. People should buy my "Impact" a James Grider novel so I can afford to move into a forested place like the one in which this factory stands.

This was VERY informative, such a cool video. I gotta hand it to ya, though I haven't yet bought a Kel-Tec firearm myself, seeing this work environment and how the people interact with eachother is such an eye opener to the company. Good to see a down home American company working very diligently to put quality firearms in people's hands.
Thank y'all for putting the time and effort in to going through and lifting the veil on such an interesting company, even if it isn't the whole picture.
Hopefully you'll be able to keep on with the factory tours. I've got customers who'll ask me what a company's ethics are, and I'll definitely point them to some of your videos on here to let them decide themselves.

This is a great video really brings back the memories of the professional CNC machinist environment. I am a CNC programming Machinist by trade for the past 25+ years I would give my eye teeth to work in a shop like Kel-Tec this company is one of the last good American Gun companies left making affordable firearms for the everyday man I have quite a few guns including a couple SU16's and I love them all after seeing this video I am definitely going to be in the market for an RDB BullPup .556 thank for the video and the great tour of the shop.

Excellent journalistic work, very didactic and clear I wish I was part of the Kel-Tec family
Never change personal customer service no matter how much they grow, which is obvious what will happen.

Cool tour. Whether the guns work correctly or not, a lot goes into building guns.

this video gives me a whole new respect for Kel Tec...I didn't disrespect Kel Tec before, I would have still bought a KT before a bersa or Taurus anyday but this is a prideful business with a lot of craftsmanship....they still need a lot of help on their slide finishes...

One of America's greatest companies. Innovative R&D department, superior no hassle warranty for life and producing truly unique light weight fire arms in the world. I truly love the SU-16c and wish I had one. Pf 9 perfect conceal carry pistol, the RFG is a superb tactical defense weapon, KSG is a bad ass and Kicks Butt. Sub 2000's are super cool, versatile guns that are quick to deploy. Hank your the best. Please consider me the recipient of the KSG your giving away:))))
