We didn't do ORIEL so we can't make a video on that....We were the last year before ORIEL was introduced! You can watch my other video called "all your pre-reg questions answered" if you want to see the opinions of someone who has gone through the process. Hope that helps!

After watching this video, I have good impression on KCL. No matter what the building looks like or course work, you can find such good friend like Navid who can laugh and giggle each other. What a charming people both of you are!

4:30 - So true. I believe universities are changing to reflect this. I feel the argument for the sciency/labby stuff is that it helps diversify the skills you are to attain once you graduate and be eligible for different types of vocations, including outside pharmacy; obviously the majority of graduates go into community so that's null!!
5:56 - Everything you say is _exactly_ what I went through too (X_X), it didn't help when certain lecturers pushed you to attempt this. Thankfully, first year didn't count towards the final award. I wish I resold those expensive books...
7:42 - Some of my lecturers normally gave the "Pay attention, this may or may not be on the exam" towards the end of term and _especially_ when most of the year were not in attendance LOL
8:04 - I assume he meant corona haha. London was struck the hardest with the biggest peak in the beginning I believe (and now it's one of the lowest?)?
10:11 - Omg-what tasty contraption are you ingesting?
13:01 - I can relate to what he's saying here (I don't think my skin has grown thick enough though :( )

Alot of the work studied in the degree is unnecessary, diplomas should be incorporated into the degree.

Great video! I was wondering if you could answer some questions please..
1. How long are the days? Is it true pharmacy is 9-5 lectures everyday?
2. Did you have time to join societies/pursue hobbies during your degree? Or was the workload too much
3. Did every graduate find a job? (I'm worried since people keep telling me it's too saturated)
4. What did you guys do for your research project
5. How hard is the maths? Will I be at a disadvantage if I didnt do A level maths?
Hello, thank you for your questions!
1. Not every day! KCL wasn't. KCL was 3 hours only on some days!
2. I did have time, but I didn't join any which I regret.
3. I am not sure about every graduate, but all of my friends are employed.
4. I did a research project on the storage of cannabis haha.
5. I didn't do A Level maths and I was fine!! It's basic calculations.

Oh woow I guess everyone has different opinions then haha. You're both probably the first people I know who've said their experiences at King's wasn't the best.
I know lots of people who enjoyed their time! This was just our opinion :)

There weren't many placements for us but things might have improved by now!
Considering that there are many aspects in the course that aren’t beneficial to you. Do you think it would be wiser to reject my KCL offer and study pharmacy at Kingston?

So.. now that you are working and know more pharmacists from other unis, do you think it matters which uni you graduate from?
I think it's about individual people - it's up to you whether you upkeep your clinical knowledge. However, I have noticed a couple of trends - for example, I have not worked with a single bad pharmacist who has graduated from Bath University...All of the pharmacists from there seem to be really really good!

I don’t know anything about Sheffield so can’t comment!! However, definitely don’t just choose London based on it being the capital…go where you can save money (she says after accumulating a 60K debt😂)
