This has got to be the best tutorial I have seen with an awesome result for sublimating on dark shirts! I am so thrilled to have bumped into this video. Thank you so much for sharing! 👍❤
Oh, this is awesome!!! I absolutely love this!! You always have the best ideas and I appreciate it so much!! You take my crafting to a whole new level!!! THANK YOU!!! 💛💚💙💛💚💙💛💚💙💛
I tried this on a 100% poly heather gray shirt and it came out very light. I used the settings/time for 100% poly shirts. I used dark colors - black, dark purple, and dark red.
So what is the brand and blend of shirt that you use? How long after pressing can you bleach it? And how soon after bleaching can you wash it? Also, do you dilute the bleach? How does the bleach not ruin the sublimation design, like bleach it out? And when you bleach, what's your process to rinse it out so it doesn't bleach the rest of the shirt? Sorry for all the questions. Thank you for your video
this is a gilden 640 shirt. the shirt is a 65% poly blend shirt. You can bleach literally seconds after pressing. you wash it as soon as you are done bleaching. you NEVER dilute the bleach. There is no need to and anyone who says you have to is wrong. the bleach doesn't ruin the design because you have a blend of cotton and poly. you just rinse the shirt in cold water. the bleach will not sit on the shirt long enough to do anything to it as long as you fully rinse the shirt and then wash it directly after you rinse it.
Thats odd it doesnt remove the sublimation ink..this is really going to help me with some of my designs..I hated the idea of sticking to light colored shirts
Hi, I have seen many bleaching sublimation videos and this looks like the easiest one yet! I have a question ( or 2), first how long do you wait after applying bleach to the shirt before rinsing and washing it? However, I did notice that I could see the shape of the paper -- it appeared like a shadow or pressing line -- saw this in the section of your video featuring the finished shirt that had been rinsed. My qyestion is this -- is there really still a pressing line -- even using the pressing pillow. The square shape I see appears also to be a litttle lighter than the rest of the dark shirt. Jusing wondering.......
That’s not from the paper that was from the pressing pillow. I used a new one and it left the mark. It’s gone now it just takes a day or two for it to go away
