Today is the FIRST time I'e trie sublimation and I'm using the dark fabric paper. I've been choking back tears because I have no idea what their directions are saying. Hearing you say the directions are confusing makes me feel a lot better. Ok, back to your video,
Iv been using the clear htv and the dark htv from htvront and iv done over 10 wash cycles with the T-Shirts and they still look the same as when I first pressed them, no peeling no cracking or fading, definitely a game changer for sublimating on 100% cotton for small printing businesses.
This was the best video i've watched in a long time. Way easier to understand and it was a fun process trying this process for the first time along with you. You had me CRACKING up when you were putting the paper on. Thank you for this video!!
When you said "I have a lot of trust in my self for no reason", I related so hard LOL! I do the same thing just blindly trusting myself hoping the ancestors tell me to stop if I need too 🤣
Thank you! I agree, the directions are definitely not detailed enough!! Can you show a video where you use cricut to cut your sublimation paper? Thanks so much
Thank you for taking the time to explain detail for detail. For some reason my Design Space is not giving me the Flock iron on Vinyl option. Please help!
Mine doesn't give the option for flocked iron on either!! This is exactly what I was scouring these comments for. I have used flocked in the past so I know I used to have it. My design space is up to date. I guess I'll try everyday iron on with more pressure and hope it works! At least I know it's not just me missing the flocked option. Hope you figured yours out!
Thank you Delonda for make it so easy to understand, I've been trying it many times and the instructions are not good at all, now I can try it with your video and pretty sure it will came out great!! Thank you so much for his video.
So I have a question about when you have to adjust the temperature of your heat press up or down like how long do you give it in between like if you have to press something just say at 200 degrees and then you have to press the next layer at 300° how much time you giving it in between the the adjustment, does that makes sense? And also what do you have your heat press sitting up on? I like how you have it elevated a little higher than counter.
That's a great question. I just give it long enough to reach the temperature. My husband made it for me. Look for my RUclips short about. I also shared it on IG, Facebook and TikTok.
@macnificentkustomz871honestly it's not as much maintenance as I thought it was going to be...but that could also be that I'm not doing it as often as I should. In my opinion, if you have a small business, it's probably better to get one that uses a roll instead of individual sheets. The colors are vibrant and the software is manageable; but it can be time consuming if you have a large order.
Hello can I ask how about 50/50 hoodie, shirt and sweater? Because we're trying this method but it didn't work on us. It has a crack line 🥺 Hoping you can help us
Did you get a chance to catch the tutorial? I haven't washed it yet. When I have used other variations of thus product, I have had great results. I shared that in the video.
You have to be careful what shirt you use with the hav for darks. It works amazing on the Gildan heavy cotton shirts! I used a Bella canvas and walmart black shirts and the black dye bleeds through and make your prints look dirty. Has anyone else experienced this?
This is the comment I was looking for. I used a black Walmart shirt and the black bleed through. Making the whole design look vintage and the white offset look gray after pressing. I'm glad to know it was just the type of shirt I was using.
Hi from Scotland, I am having great diff obtaining the HTVRONT Sublimation HTV for Dark Fabric/Light Fabric Can you help? Your link takes me to amazon, they don't know when this will be in stock
Hi great video what's the difference between Celsius and Fahrenheit ?because I bought a 16 x24 heat press and it stays on Celsius lol don't know how to spell it thank you
Oh no. That is one of those "it depends" questions. If you are trying to match this temperature - I think you need to do about 173 degrees Celsius. You will probably need to Google it. There's a formula.
Thank you, Delonda, for always taking the time to instruct with clarity, patience, and accuracy. Sometimes, I have problems with those instructions as well. I've had those same HTV vinyls and so many dark cotton tees just sitting around here waiting for this moment, so afraid to mess up and waste my products! 😢 You take the hassle out of learning, and I so appreciate that! Hi. Looks beautiful. I wonder about the feel? With the DTF hack on white and light colors, the image embeds into the fabric. Can't wait for your wash & wear test. Cheers!
Hello Mrs. Delonda! Great video! Honest question, why not just use siser easysubli for sublimating on dark/light cotton shirts? Alll you have to do is print the image, dry under your heat press for about 3-5min and then cut image then press the image.
Hello, Delonda and friends, My name is Toya and I am always learning fron your video and appreciate you. I am having a problem with finding the flocked iron-on material option. And I only got the sublimation vinyl to cut one time and then it will not cut any others images out for me.

Question....What does it mean if the picture later on goes blurry? I'm new to sublimation and I want to learn why I know someone that does sublimation BUT the pictures end up going blurry I thought cause of the washing but no a shirt never worn or washed got blurry also...I'm scared to make shirts cause of that anything that you can tell me will help!
Oh no, I haven't seen that happen. Do you mean that when they press the image on the shirt, it gets blurry? If so, it means that the image is shifting when it is being pressed. It needs to be taped down with heat resistant tape and the pressure should be firm from the heat press.

I just bought this and SOOOOO glad you did a tutorial!! I've been going back to your hack video with white vinyl. Found on my end the white vinyl always cracked in the middle though. New stuff is coming in tomorrow! 😊

Is the Cricut machine required for all this to work? I'm trying to sublimate on dark fabrics/garments and my only attempt resulted in the HTV paper never coming off the garment after pressing it and removing the clear film (as per instructions). I then pressed my design and it worked, but only to have a white background from the HTV paper. That's not what I want! lol. Did I miss a step? Thanks!
The Cricut is only a cutting machine. This process should work with any vinyl cutter. Without seeing your exact steps, it would be impossible to know what could be done differently.
@@CraftingwithDelonda Thanks! If you can confirm my summary of how HTV paper works, I'd appreciate it! Summary (according to my paper's instructions -- A-Sub Sublimation Heat Transfer Vinyl): Place THV paper on garment glossy side up and apply heave heat for ~ 10-20s @ 320F Tear off protective film (this left white background/paper on my garment) Print design on sublimation paper and place on top of HTV paper. Press according to instruction and remove sublimation paper (I did this part and the design was successful but with the white HTV paper now adhered to the garment; what I don't want). Am I missing anything? Thanks!
I had to do the same exact thing you did with the dark H TV right and pick it up and see which side was what also I don’t know if you’d like your finger blade but I’ve had one for about 1213 years and I absolutely love it and sometimes I even use it to weed!’in my opinion’ I think you do excellent teaching on your RUclips channel and I get tickled at the beginning when you say your name, and it makes me smile!

Do you have to use heavy Cotton shirts for this? I would like to use a blend so it's a softer stretchier shirt. I love your videos
Thank you and nope. I just use heavy cotton because it is cost effective for making so many shirts on my channel.
If you wanted to add htv motives...Would pressing again damage the sublimation image or work in any way?
I don't think it would damage it at all. I would just lower the temperature and cover the sublimated part with butcher paper.
Mines keep messing up I don’t know if I’m putting too much heat

@@CraftingwithDelonda Thanks! If you can confirm my summary of how HTV paper works, I'd appreciate it!
Summary (according to my paper's instructions -- A-Sub Sublimation Heat Transfer Vinyl):
Place THV paper on garment glossy side up and apply heave heat for ~ 10-20s @ 320F
Tear off protective film (this left white background/paper on my garment)
Print design on sublimation paper and place on top of HTV paper. Press according to instruction and remove sublimation paper (I did this part and the design was successful but with the white HTV paper now adhered to the garment; what I don't want). Am I missing anything? Thanks!
Just wondering how stiff it is?
The other was a little heavy behind the print. It looks pretty but heavy when pressed
Not heavy at all.
Is it possible or has anyone done a split htv design on 2 pieces of htv to make it bigger??
I'm sure someone will. I personally haven't.
Did you use a regular ink or sublimation ink? Thanks
Sublimation
I could never line it up correct
Question, do I need to buy a better/bigger printer to be able to print larger images?
I say, it depends...what size printer do you have now? Most standard printers are 8.5 x 14
Thanks for clarifying the instructions! I love it too😊

Where did you got the bundle. What's the app?
I am not sure what bundle you are referring to. All of the materials that I used are listed below the video.
I would love for you to do a review on the cricut venture will you be using one in the near future
Hi there, I don't have one and I don't see myself getting one in the foreseeable future.
Thank you ❤️
I love that little knife thing.
When I tried to stop saying, "it's me again Delonda, someone was like, I need to hear it 🤣😭🤣😭

A-Sub Sublimation Paper
Hello!Love your video, but i have a question. I have 100 percent polyester shirts. Can i use the htv ront on them with no regular htv they are dark purple .
Hi there and thank you. Yes, you can use this new one without needing extra htv.
Thank you so very much. You do such an awesome job.
Hi Quick question do I use 2 of the htvront sublimation paper?
One should be enough.
So I use one for printable sublimation htv then the htvront outline? Thanks
Could this be done on a dark polyester shirt ?
I would say yes.
