    Ok. Not only is your leather crafting exemplary, but your videography is nearly perfect for a RUclips video. Composition, shot selection and editing are superb. I try to count the number of visual puns you insert into each video. Quite entertaining and informative. This video shows me how to make a non destructive pen clip for a leather journal I made. Magnets. Two magnets. A little leather and it should work. Thank you so much. Happy New Year!

      @@MasconLeather Are you kidding. Very few people understand the time and effort that goes into making (editing) any kind of RUclips video. You go the extra mile to make yours unique. (where the camera is in relation to the bottle of whisky...) Artisitic and informative.

    • @MasconLeather
      @MasconLeather  5 лет назад +4

      Yeah. Not many realize the effort to make it appear effortless. No clip is on screen longer than 6 seconds. 2, 3, 4 different angles of the same task (and I’m the only one there. So I have to stop, move the camera. Record. Stop. Move the camera , repeat , repeat). And all the while, I have to make something out of leather. Lol. A 3 hour leather project takes about 25-30 hours to film. 200-300 clips total, jammed in 13 minutes. It’s so nice have someone see it and appreciate it. Thank you, sir!

      Thanks for watching!! I tried to put most of the FAQs there to save folks some time. It’s frustrating having questions and having to ask.

    What a nice money clip and I love the way you film your tutorial!! I have a random question, what is the strength of the magnet you use for your clip? I'm thinking of making one for my father for Christmas, but am uncertain of the strength I should go with. Thanks!

      Thanks!! The magnets are rare earth. N40 - N50 ? I can’t recall exactly. Depends on the thickness of the leather being used

    Simple concept results a great wallet :-) Great video. Love the edges, you do such a great job on them. Really like the hanging prop at the end when putting up the coffee pots :-) Better question, how did it make it to the shop? Hmmmm? :-)

    Lol. Nice project. Great video work. Lucked out on the wife side too. And a nice shop. Talk about over achieving. 😂 Really though... Hadn't come across a vid for these clips yet and appreciate the education. I used to stream gaming, and would like to make videos for doing leatherworking, but it seems so daunting. All of the editing and whatnot. I cry inside thinking about all of the work that went into making this video. I just made my first belt, trying a design too intricate with tools that were too big, so it took me 9 hours. I feel like it would take me longer to edit the video you just did. Pfft.

    Please disregard that question as to what kind of leather you are using to make the Money-Clip wallet. I didn't watch the video from the beginning. But after watching it from the beginning and knowing what kind of leather you used, I still would like to know how much a hide costs.

    Outstanding, just like everything else I've seen on your channel. And as @Bruce Brachman said, your video composition skills make it look easy (everything, not just the craft or putting together the video). Enjoyed this one immensely as well! Can't wait to see what you come up with next. =)
