Granted if I had kids I wouldn't let them watch it because when I got into highschool a bunch of kids started a fight club after watching it and I thought that was stupid in my opinion because I've never seen something and made it my personality like most did.

@@tnreprasentog7769 well i personally found some good lessons in it such as “its only after weve lost everything, that were free to do anything” the lesson i took from this quote was that letting go is SO important. it personally changed my life for the better. when you let go of everything that holds you back and when you are able to sacrifice big things to gain bigger things, you really can do anything…like if you’re terrified of your boss for example. you know you are getting underpaid yet you also know your boss is extremely grouchy and will probably laugh in your face. youre too scared to say anything and youre too scared to lose the job. what if you let go of that fear and spoke up? chances are you either get a raise, or you get fired and find a job that pays 5x better. let go!!!! “the things you own end up owning you” its true. again, for example, look at the world and look at economy. say you just got a check for 5 million. at first glance, you can barely stand on 2 feet and youre ecstatic over the fact that you are literally a multimillionare!!!! but over time that money changes you, and in the end, the money controls you. you buy all these big things and now youre living in a mansion. eventually over the next couple of years, the money runs out. now youre sitting in a pool of wealth with no money to keep it there. you have so many nice things and you dont want to get rid of any of it! now youre drowning in debt and you have to move back in to the old house you started with. now you are miserable, and therefore, the money ended up owning you. i do understand that these are not perfect scenarios, its almost 1 in the morning and im exhausted so i apologize, but those are a couple examples of good lessons you can take from the film. the only thing i didnt like was that in the end tyler ended up becoming exactly what he preached against. sort of ties with “the things you own end up owning you” hope this helps but let me know your thoughts!!
