I've found it often is the "Technic" elements where you're going to get issues with alt-bricks, they tend to be more prone to either being too tight or too loose compared the normal bricks. But those 2L axle pieces are literally pennies so I'd just use a pair of pliers or something and rough them slightly to tighten the fit.

Agreed, the Technic quality is definitely lagging behind the brick quality when it comes to alt-bricks. Thank you for the tip🥰

I built an alt bricks Hulk Buster and it was a nightmare, it would not stay together. Its now a permanent display model after using three tubes of superglue on it. The best sets to do on the cheap are the modular buildings, as gravity holds them together.

My husband laughed when I suggested glue. He wanted to replace the pieces. Thank you for the validation😊. I do love my Alt-brick modulars. Thanks for sharing🥰

Something I've noticed too. Most parts hold together well, too tight in some cases, and then you have parts that just don't and things will fall off on their own. I have spare parts or don't mind buying ones when needed, but I can see how it'd be a real annoyance if you just want something that can be ~fire~ build and forget. But considering fixing those sets end up costing me cents vs buying the real deal for two to four times the price I'll just deal with the loose pieces when they happen. Cheap solutions to cheap problems.

Well said. Having spare parts can definitely make all the difference. I really should have changed out pins as i was building but just didn't realize they would be so loose, lol. Maybe I will fix them at some point

Just add glue where is needed 😂, I know most people dont like it but I don't see a problem about it

    Hey hey
From afar, well, not miles, these look pretty good!
I’m sure the pins on the hands could be replaced with genuine LEGO pins. The heads on the originals are held in place with a round 4x4 brick with a hole (4558957) and a square tile. Not a pin!
Is it possible to modify how the head is put in place?
    Otherwise, as a display piece, I’d give these a 6 outta 10…

Yes, they were fun to build and I definately may make alterations down the road. For now, Display only, lol. 😀
