Hey hey I just purchased my first Mould King set, the Cadillac Eldorado, set 10012. The quality of the bricks was very good and the instructions were easy to follow. I was a tad disappointed with the build process and felt some of the steps left you with parts connected by just one stud until later in the build process. As such, a little bit too much pressure bought the pieces coming apart and you having to go back a few steps. The set included a few chromed pieces and these were really very nice. For the price, I was very happy. A similar LEGO car would’ve cost me three or four times as much 👍
The Caddy set looks really good and what a great price for 1200 pieces.(I had to google it. I'm always on the hunt for futures builds☺️) I have had the same thing with this set. Things feel flimsy until it gets firmed up later on. I was questioning this early in my build. It is coming together nicely now. Thanks for sharing🥰
Oh! Second time your video has been suggested (new subscriber), and I have this one! I like it. I know people hate stickers, but I don't, and found this really fun. I have it displayed open, and switched out the battery pack for a USB plug. I have a few other not-name-brand in addition to that Pantasy Bakery and this one. Didn't know about "go-bricks"....
I am loving this set so far. The stickers make sense for this set and I agree with you they are enjoyable. Hubby complained the whole time he was putting stickers on his Mercedes F1🤣. I never thought of displaying opened🤔. I love the USB Plug idea. I am actively looking for sets that use GoBricks, they really are great. IMHO they are equal to the the big L. Thanks for sharing the tips🥰. Thank you for the support.❤️
@@SheClicksBricks I appreciate learning about "GoBricks" as a source to look for. There are so many astounding designers only hindered by the manufacturing of the bricks. The others I have I think are branded "General Jim's". Don't know if they are GoBricks or not but definitely good build experiences.
Looks good, if you compare the baseplate to a standard lego plate are they about the same? For the potential issue adding to an existing Lego city, if the base plate is the same thickness as a standard lego plate (ie like the 16x16 plates) then by adding a lego baseplate below it in the form of a MILS plate, the GoBricks baseplate would then sit at the same height (Building from bottom up; Lego baseplate, lego brick, gobricks baseplate)? Looking forward to the build 👍
They're very large plates, not baseplates. You can even see how they have inverse studs on the bottom. Baseplates are smooth on the bottom side. There are a few people making large plates like these, I have a few 32x32 from Strictly Briks I found on AZ. The Gobricks ones look like they might be more rigid, with more support beams underside.
@@LutraLovegood yes I wasn't meaning to compare them to the thin Lego baseplates, but the thicker ones like the 16x16 plates, ie standard plate thickness. Using MILS system the standard thickness plates are used as the top layer immediately below the modular, which is effectively what you have with the Gobricks plate, so the thinner baseplate and a layer of standard blocks could possibly be added below this Gobricks plate to make it the same height as a standard Lego modular which is using the MILS system and thus be able to integrate with a Lego city with minimal difference between heights. Sorry, its difficult to explain but if you search for MILS tutorials on RUclips it might make more sense.
When I saw the plate, MILS was the first thing I thought of. I’ve been converting my city over bit by bit. It’s a really great way to give our Modular’s a proper foundation.
@@YusukeTomB yes same, it adds so much strength to the set for moving them around and for those like myself who light the sets it is brilliant for running wires

Oh wow. I’m really surprised on the quality of this. Can’t wait to see the final build! Thanks for the video!
Agreed. The quality is on point, very impressive. The set is going together very smooth. I'm very happy with the purchase so far. 🥰
@@SheClicksBricks it’s always good to know that other brands are doing well!! Thanks for the update
I'm considering their Millennium Falcon fingers crossed :)
Wow. I had no idea they made the Falcon. I wonder what the will be. 🤔Please let us know how that goes.
Nice looking set - Let me know how the build goes - as for the baseplates - I see lots of sets switching to the normal thickness plates as a base.
For sure. Thank you for the tip.🥰
Interesting set, these modern style modular designs are few and far between.
Agreed. That is the main reason I went with this set. So far, it has not disappointed. I hope to find a few more like it.🥰

@@SheClicksBricks Ha ha! Displayed open it really is an art gallery, and all those stickers really pop. So cool they include some kind of lighting.
@@nsbd90now I am looking forward to seeing it done. Which is a bitter sweet day.🥰

That looks so beautiful!
Thank you very much🥰. It is a great build so far.

@@kagirokasuri6119 Thank you 😊😊
I know both are good in their on way. But if you want to start planning lego city, what baseplate between lego and go-bricks will you really choose?
I've honestly never thought of it as my city is on a shelf but I think it would really come down to cost. Great question!
Have you double checked if the parts are for the gallery and not for a different set again? Ahah
🤣🤣 I Love it. So far it is all Gallery🤣🤣🥰
Not something I would purchase or lust after.
It's not for everybody, but I like the modern design. Thank you for sharing 🥰
