Fire trucks make sense that they would be "obsessed" they are plastic fire and heat are the worst thing they have to worry about put them in water there fine bury it in the dirt for a while there fine insert another realistic kid sanario and pretty much there fine maybe with slightly worse or gone printing but fine overall heat and fire though nothing you do can ever unmelt them so ya if you were a plastic person you might take your fire safety very seriously too
Also that they gave characters mech including but not limited to the Hulk, Venom, Thanos, Spider-Man (more than once and none of them Peni or JP Spider-Man who both did have mechs), and Knuckles the Echidna.
Sometimes kids back in school would trade minifigures. One kid traded his Thor for a Nick Fury minifigure i had. He gave his Thor with a regular Hammer piece, and the next day, i figured out why. The piece was actually missing when he bought the set, and i was there when he built it on his birthday. He called the regular Hammer "Mjolnirn't"
Everybody talks about the brown frog in the Lion Knight's Castle, but here's also a golden one hidden in the tower wall where the set hinges to be displayed open or closed.
As a huge Ninjago fan, I have tons of those katanas, maily in gold and silver, but I have some translucent orange and translucent pink ones also some lime green, red, and azure colored katanas. That’s 7 colors, more than half the available colors (12). If you want to know how to obtain them, I got the translucent orange one from the Kai and Rapton Temple Battle polybag from Dragons Rising Season 1, I got the translucent pink one from the recently retired Crystalized sets which contains the Crystal Council generals, I got the gold and silver ones from almost my entire current Lego Ninjago collection containing many seasons worth of sets, I got the lime green from the cores sets (specifically the ones that contain Lloyd), I got the red ones from the Sons of Garmadon sets, and I got the azureone from the core sets that contain Nya.
There is a “phantom brick” in set 6210 Jabba’s Sail Barge in the original instructions. The part is never used in the set, and hasn’t been created by LEGO
A clever piece usage I found recently: In the set Joker's Lowrider (don't know the name for sure) they use 8 guns for the "exhaust" and also a bucket for the horn
As I recall from the Bonsai instruction booklet, the frogs were originally all the work of one madlad at Lego. I think his obsession may have spread to other designers though...
I think the firetruck sets are in response to the 2 massive fires that happened in the lego factories in the beginning of the company, which were devastating.
Its very telling the passion that goes on behind the scenes when a piece releases that they just love so much they find any excuse to shoehorn it into any situation they can. I hope they never lose this aspect.
You left out the katanas wielded by a bohrok-va (lehvak, I think? The green one.) those especially stood out since he’s the only one armed with a minifigure-scaled weapon.
When I was into legos, I really liked it when pieces were used in unique ways like this. It was cool to see and when I took them apart, I had more weapons for my Lego armies
If you know the history of LEGO, you’ll know that the factory burned down not once or twice, but on three separate occasions. That’s why they are kind of obsessed with fire trucks.
Actually, the katanas were released before Ninjago. I remember having a green mech that had a shield with spinning katanas on it. I looked it up, it's the Cyclone Defender from the Exp-force line.
i remember, many years ago, i had a friend in school, who let me borrow a red katana. i used this katana for a very specific character that i had made up, i remember this character had a zombified pigman head from a lego minecraft set. eventually, i lost the katana, i looked for it as long as i could, but i never was able to find it. even while i was moving, years later, long after i hadn't contacted that friend in ages, i still never ended up finding it. i feel bad about it to this day
Reminds me of old lego sets and games where they would use usual pieces for stuff that would later get specialized stuff, like normal revolvers for Jango's blasters
They should make thor's hammer have a slightly thicker handle than a normal lego person can hold, and only thor's and captain america's hand can hold it, that would be cool
The most common obsession Lego has is filling the insides of their sets with random colorful junk so they can save money, and only using stickers, never prints, even on a f'ing 700USD UCS set
4:30 sadly he managed to use the abolute worst angle possible and didn't show anything. But there are two red kantanas that hold up the widshield behind the technic pieces. You can see where they are placed in page 116, step 201 of the assembly manual.
Bro I just came from another video, your ninjago vs classic ninja. Your voice now compared to then lol. Time flies. Glad you kept pushing for sucess with your channel. 🎉
For some reason, LEGO is obsessed with Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator. They've released 6 or so sets of a ship that is on screen for barely 30 seconds. And its not as popular as the Slave 1, which has about as many iterations.
I do find that really interesting, especially because it’s not even mainstream. I only hear diehard fans talk about it, so for them to make 6 iterations in insane. Maybe it’s because it looks cool?
It's normal that there are a huge number of katanas in Ninjago cuz, as everyone knows, this series is about ninjas (Ninjago used the most of this piece). Besides, the fact that katanas appear in other sets is cool because I love this piece.
Not to mention the mug that is used in Marvel Minifigure series 1 has a print of the Variant logo. Not sure of that's the first time we had a printed one, but a first for me
What I thought was just the regular Lego cube in my Lego Thor hammer set turns out was a Lego head modified to be light blue colored see-through . I had someone else cool. I have the Lego City retired Lego $1,000 tower crane named Cheeto
Didn't you already talk about that brown frog? Anyway, you've seen Minecraft Minifigure heads in other themes, but have you ever seen a standard head in a Minecraft set? One of the new sets known as "the Cherry Grove" is the first set to have Sniffers, and of course they were obligated to include the flowers that the sniffer digs up, the torch flower and pitcher plant, the latter of which uses a standard Minifigure head as the pitcher of the plant! They also released a third Ender Dragon, fourth if you count the micro build, this time with a wearable head piece, in a set called "The Ender Dragon and End Ship" which is an interesting combination? My theory is they were going to just have the ship but wanted to make the Dragon head on the front of it compatible with Jean herself, and so they redesigned her for the second time to make it compatible. Another note is they include the exit portal and dragon egg for anyone who missed out on the egg the first time, it has chorus trees next to it for some reason. Can't believe the Dragon has three releases now, the Elder Guardian has two, and the Wither only has one? Poor Wither needs an update in my opinion.
Can you think of any pieces or builds that LEGO is obsessed with?

AYY
Mixels had an obsession with brackets.
Like can't build one without at least one of them appearing somewhere.
They're even obsessed with Lego Mario 😭
if you ever feel useless, remember that superheroes in LEGO sets use planes, helicopters, and motorcycles
Lego gotta have to give us superhero toys Somehow
Surely you never rammed those super hero cars into the villains at light speed
Also that they gave characters mech including but not limited to the Hulk, Venom, Thanos, Spider-Man (more than once and none of them Peni or JP Spider-Man who both did have mechs), and Knuckles the Echidna.
Not to mention marvel gave spiderman a SPIDER CAR. BRUH HE SWINGS FROM WEBS 😭😭😭
Thanoscopter
Ah yes, glizzy has been hidden in every set.
Ima be honest it’s one of the best peaces
No my glizzy
They took MY glizzy and used it in a Lego set
Oh no my Glizzy eight I have no Glizzy now what am I supposed to eat now grass
What about Star Wars??
Sometimes kids back in school would trade minifigures. One kid traded his Thor for a Nick Fury minifigure i had. He gave his Thor with a regular Hammer piece, and the next day, i figured out why.

Same I traded batman without a Cape and a wookie for a custom captain america
Lego really embraces "if it ain't broke don't fix it" with their obsessions, just improving and getting more and more creative each and every time.
And more expensive 💀
@@SpriteWorld1991 Yeah that's the sad fact now...
I somehow only have one sledgehammer, 3 frogs, and no cherries but I have WAY too many coffee mugs
I have no sledgehammers, no frogs, no cherries and way too many mugs.
I have the bonsai tree so I have all the frogs but in pink.
THe mugs are fine, its a pretty standard cup desighn, one of the best as it's easy to hold rather then just having it sit on top of a fig's hand.
I only have one katana lol
I have WAY TOO MANY KATANAS
Just wait until he hears about the 2x1 lego brick
2x4
Everybody talks about the brown frog in the Lion Knight's Castle, but here's also a golden one hidden in the tower wall where the set hinges to be displayed open or closed.
you forgot lego loves minifigure hands
I was about to comment that
I think kid me was kinda shocked when I saw some mixels used Minifig heads for eyes, like slumbo (who uses Benny's helmet very well) and balk.
2x4 bricks😂

Lego uses katanas so often I had to designate a separate "katana draw" in my lego organiser, separate from my "swords draw".
the brown frog one is wild
🤣
There is a “phantom brick” in set 6210 Jabba’s Sail Barge in the original instructions. The part is never used in the set, and hasn’t been created by LEGO
How does it look like?
What page does it appear on?
@@SpitBrix the final page, where it displays all of the parts. I also DM’ed you on Instagram, and sent a picture with it
@@Deflect-fteod2 kind of looks like the black technic part that is part of the middle part of the classic Jabba
I await cherries being released in one of the gray colors and someone making a truck with truck nutz on the back bumper....
A clever piece usage I found recently: In the set Joker's Lowrider (don't know the name for sure) they use 8 guns for the "exhaust" and also a bucket for the horn
A huge lego error I found recently: On page 71 of the Starwars captain Rex helmet the blue pieces were all purple
Just checked mine and it's fine, the steps shown on page 71 only have one blue piece visible and it's blue in my book

I like how you made a video talking about legos Katana obsession a few hours after I got FIVE
The fact that the creators at Lego insinuated that the Frog was pooped on it probably the funniest thing I’ve seen from LEGO
I think the firetruck sets are in response to the 2 massive fires that happened in the lego factories in the beginning of the company, which were devastating.
I fun video idea for the 200 IQ videos is the Lego orchid set in the leaf piece. They use shields and forks. I think it is very cool.
A fun

I love Lego with a passion. I've got that cherry at 7:08!
biggest lego obsession lego has is fire trucks
The Lego sledge hammer was used I the classic defender 90 set as what I’m guessing a handle bar.
Lego: "We spent the money to make this mold and we're GOING to get our money's worth out of it!"
It’s not an obsession then. It’s just pragmatic, cost efficient and reusable piece. Which means it’s a successful piece.
2:34 technically that version of her is a hero. For some reason.
It's normal that there are a huge number of katanas in Ninjago cuz, as everyone knows, this series is about ninjas (Ninjago used the most of this piece). Besides, the fact that katanas appear in other sets is cool because I love this piece.
The Milky Way set has a mug in it. Also cherries.
10:10 I'd like a history of Lego garage doors. Ever since I was a kid in the 80s they've fascinated me.
the used a glizzy as an anchor for the titanic set lego is a master at repurposing what would traditionally be considered one off pieces
6:58 like the batcave i have attack on the spider lair spiderman set and too comes with a mug piece
There's even one in the new Barad-dûr lotr set, at least it's still a hammer in that one though, lol!
that katana obsession is real I got like 4 ninjago sets and got like 10 katanas insane...
I really think lego being obsessed with firetrucks is, tragically... due to the fact their factories burned down twice???
Don’t forget, those old motorcycles that came in tubes that came out right before bionicle did also featured the katanas
Another one of LEGO's obsessions are printing zippers on mini fig torsos.
Was thinking "They could re-release those Fabuland sets and rebrand them as Animal Crossing." But then..😺
I feel bad for the brown frog, since frogs can breathe through their skin.
Lego Spider-Man sets love to feature Venom or Carnage more than any of Spider-Man's rouges gallery.
LEGO©️ is OBSESSED with 6×2 LEGO©️ pieces😭😭😭😭

lego loves frogs and it’s beautiful
I still have one of the 30173b katanas in my collection, back when they would occasionally release in the ninjago sets in year 1
Pretty well known, but lego likes to hide pink blocks in their sets for some reason.
There are never to much fire truck/fire department sets in general from LEGO, i only wish for a nice Technic set of a fire truck nowadays.
golden swords
