I meantioned that, the front of car is ford LTD crown vic but rear is mailbu....should've used the LTD pic for front.

Owning the LTD that the VC cop car was based on is like a dream.
It was so unique and so separate from the classic Boxy LTD that it looked pretty slim back in the day!

it would be really cool the Miami-dade Police (the department that vcpd is based on) used the Ford LTD in the 80's so if the beginning of the game takes place in the 80's it would be a great car and also a vcpd greenwood

Wouldn't mind a Police Update tbh, especially if some of them have civilian variants like the Esperanto, Merit and such, also classic versions of the Merit (70's, 80's and 90's versions), Stanier (70's and 80's versions) and so on, plus others like a Police Riot Tank and so on, so yeah

The enforcer classic should have a rotator “bubble style” light bar since led light bars weren’t common back when that truck was supposedly made
Even if the Enforcer classic was supposedly made during the late 1980's or early 1990's, retro-fitting them with LED light bars in still possible.

or noose variant if they need to use it as a enemy vehicle, but i'd prefer LSPD variant since we are somewhat helping the LSPD in the new heist mission.
It was thanks to GTA: Vice City that I learned what the last generation Ford LTD was. The VCPD cruiser is 100% the Fox-body model Ford LTD, which was only built for a short time before being replaced by the Taurus in 1987. It was available as a police model, complete with the 302 V8 and dual exhaust.

The police Stinger from TBoGT was basically an AWD Presidente cruiser with over 800hp, it was way faster than any super car from that game

The Noose Patriot is the goat and had absolutely beautiful designs on it and I really hope they bring this back

I remember storing a Noose Patriot in GTA IV just because of the pushing power that thing had is insane. Just fun taking it and bullying npc traffic out of the way 😂

No, I didn't forget it, Riot looks more like a van than a truck but enforcer & Stockade (GTA IV Enforcer) have actual truck cabin and might be build on truck chassis as well.
@@SD1ONE I see what you mean although after taking a second look the classic enforcer is based off an emergency service truck in which gta v has no similar vehicle.
though i do see wanting an armored truck based on a commercial truck chassis and not a heavy pickup chassis

More than anything I want them to bring back unmarked police cars like the Cheetah in Vice City. It was always cool to see those chasing me with entirely different NPC's in a cool, unmarked sports car. Doesn't even have to be Cheetah's. In real life I've seen unmarked Corvettes, Mustangs, Chargers, and a few others. Be cool to see that sort of variety in police cars in the next installment.

I really think they'll add in a lot of classic cars from their old games as collectibles. If you remember, GTA 5 story gives you the ability to collect unique vehicles for your garages. It'd be nice to see them expand on this. They wouldn't really have an excuse to say no either. With the new nex gen consoles, and high performance PCs, they can do much more with the game than they could in 2013. I'd love to see them add a few cars from every 3D gta game as collectibles, as well as police car variants. It'd be an amazing way to honor their previous games popularity.

The police ranger could’ve been the police car for Paleto Bay, maybe the older police truck could’ve been the Paleto Bay or the desert areas version of the swat truck, would’ve been nice to at least see those
There’s also a wrecked Merit in gta v in Stab City , but it’s a civilian version.

I think Rockstar is ready to make a game about police, but the player is a police officer who can do various cop missions, for instance: chasing criminal subjects and you can be a different police officers and do the missions in different places like: city, desert, snow town and many more... Would be a great game, isn't it?
The Vapid Stainer was in the first trailer of the GTA V! And it was cutted of from the final game. :/ It will be good to see one day in the game.

Rockstar don't care if these police vehicles are decommissioned, their version of Florida still uses a late 90's/early 2000's Ford Crown Victoria.
In fact, Rockstar could add a Impaler LX or Impaler ZS as a police car in GTA VI and no one would complain about the police car being outdated.

A lot of these cars should be cars we can use but the police wouldn't as it just wouldn't make sense for them to use an outdated type of vehicle they have updated versions of. And to be fair with the PIA, it was used in LC because your character is an Immigrant and the city is known for being a huge Immigration area. A police hummer could work but the PIA being an enemy to an American Character wouldn't make sense. An APC would be interesting.
FIB Albany Washington needs to come back in GTA 6 to get the GTA vice city nostalgia and a modern rancher (most likely based on the Chevy Tahoe)

I always found the Patriot to be a very interesting choice for a federal police vehicle, or any police vehicle for that matter. Definitely a sign of the times when GTA4 was created.
GTA5 is critically needing an update to the Police. The world in-game has changed a lot from 2013, and American police agencies irl definitely have too.
In game, they really aren’t much of a threat to most players.

Something in me already knows that Rockstar won't bring those back, they didn't even make a police DLC, instead they created new missions, which don't expand the game options, with a police DLC there could be so much room for new mechanics and activities, in missions and freeroam
