The 2.0mm spec is the thickness of the material; you measured the side *including* the lip, which explains why your measurement was larger.

I remember Google doing something similar a few Pixel’s back (they may still do).
You could pick a map for your case, and tweak the look. Having your home city/town as part of your case was pretty cool.

I enjoy your case reviews. These cases are awesome looking. I can do without the measuring bit. I can see if it’s gonna be a thick case or not just by looking at it and how it looks on your phone. Millimeters isn’t gonna make or break it for me. But if bringing that tool out makes you happy do you.😆
Thanks for watching. It’s not so much for me as it is for the viewer. A lot of people ask me constantly how thick a case is and how it compares to another case. So the caliper helps answer that question for whoever may have it. Same with the scale.
