Hi, maybe a bit out of topic, but, do you think tempered glass can absorb shock if the phone is dropped with case that has minimal screen lip?just wonder if there is nothing to worry about internal hardware as long as the tempered is not shattered?
Thanks for discussing the grip. I really liked my Spigen Enzo Aramid case but it got scratched up recently (but protected my phone!), so I’m looking for a new case. Not too keen on the branding of Benks for this case but the grip is more important to me!
@@mikes41720I just got mine last night and I actually feel like this feels a little slippery. But let me know what you thought of yours if ended up getting it.
If I ask you I like minimal design should I get the normal armor pro or should I go for more practical grippy montage armor pro is it worth the sacrifice of the minimalist design for much better feeling? my hands sweat a lot too. so I'm contemplating what should I get.
I can’t really recommend the regular armor pro. It’s so slippery. Especially if you have sweaty hands it’ll slide right out of your hand. I would do the Montage. You can also try the Armor Air Montage or regular Armor Air for a very minimal case.
@@Brians_tech Aight thanks brotha I'm wondering the price on the presidio grip 2 and armorpro montage is almost the same price what do you recommend more?
My MAGSAFE magnet on the case didn't align properly in the center. Loose buttons. Terrible QC. I returned it and bought Pitaka at double the price, but with 100% satisfaction.
The fingerprints are dreadful on my banks case. It gets greasy immediately, whereas my pitaka case, with the same 600D aramid fiber doesn’t get greasy at all! The only caveat is the Pitaka will not stop your phone from cracking
@@Brians_tech no brotha just bought my first iphone 15 pro and I looked for a case some people recommended it as an S tier case and I liked the camera bevel on it so I decided to get it.
@@Brians_tech Nope I just bought my first Iphone the 15 pro looked for a good case many people recommended this case and even put it in a S tier class case and I like the camera bevel shape so decided for it. Worried about the branding at the back but the lower branding is thin and unnoticeable at all.
You are not lying there. I recently got a rugged armor case with my 16 pro and have never felt that kind of response out of magsafe before. Plus I love the covert tactical look of the rugged armor case.
I'm iffy on benks. I didn't have a single scratch on my iPhone after months and several different cases. I put a benks case on it for two days and now I have scratches all over the top of my phone frame. I did nothing different and my phone didn't go any place it hasnt every single other day for the last 6 months.

It does absorb shock
Yes this is the video I’m waiting for ❤❤
Thanks for watching!

I found the Spigen Enzo Aramid pretty slippery so I wasn’t a huge fan of
@@Brians_tech okay good to know you find this grippier then! The Spigen was a bit slippery but it also was grippy for me. It was weird that way. Haha.
@@mikes41720I just got mine last night and I actually feel like this feels a little slippery. But let me know what you thought of yours if ended up getting it.
what tempered glass did you use?
This is the Spigen. I have a video for it on my channel.
Hey Brian! You briefly mentioned that the sides are made a different material compared to the original. Could you elaborate on that please?
They’re that mix between the two styles of aramid fiber, which provides some texture which in turn provides slightly better grip.
@@Brians_tech is that on the back or the sides as well, similar to pitaka's protective case?
On the back and sides
very nice and clear review my friend
Thank you!

@Kitty-xl8nj I personally like the benks more. But the speck is a good case as well.
So what exactly did they fix? Is it more grippy?
Yep. Much better grip and doesn’t slip out of the hand.
Mine was defective. Didn’t fit right. New replacement on the way. Other than that I liked it.

That's weird... Let me know when you get the new one how it is. Mine fit just right.
@@Brians_tech sure thing. Yea I hope the next one is perfect because I really like it.
Got the replacement today. Fit is perfect. Buttons still rattle so added a little tape on top of them. No rattle.
they should have done the placement in the same orange color as the mute button

Just got mine and I'm gonna say I'm surprised damn. I recommend it 100% such an underrated brand for case!
Absolutely. Did you have the original armor pro before this one?

Magsave magnet still best with spigen rugged armor

I ordered one

Interesting. I never experienced scratches on my phone from any of my Benks cases. Which case was it?
You will not have scratches on your phone because if you do then Benks will not sponsor your video 😂@@Brians_tech
Too much labeling! Even my Mous Super Thin Kevlar has now only 1 branding.
I agree. Too much branding on the back of the case.
Its not even noticeable in person when you look at it the branding at the bottom is kinda dark.
Branding actually Makes it look More Nicer in my opinion
Nah i will stay with my Pitaka Mag EZ Pro and Gen 5 Rebel cases.
Honestly, I have both the new and original versions and they both feel the same. They didn’t fix anything. Just new design.
This one is way less slippery. That was my experience with both of them.
