does it generate heat when charging the iphone via magnet?

I have this case on the same phone you do; the case slowly slides out of my hand, and I’m getting a Spigen Amour Case, I forget the model, it is best for protection, as it has something on the sides other than slippery silicone, not a good choice unless you put a death grip on the case then you can’t use it very well.

I just purchased the outdated version like 5 days ago, will they still replace it with this new one?

I love the frosted black case, but I hate the glossy finish on the sides. If they did this in a matte black edge as opposed to glossy TPU I'd be all over it. Sticking with my Apple Silicone case until they maybe release something like this in future!

I had a Spigen screen protector and case ordered before I even got my 16PM, and installed them day one. Once FloLab released this fixed screen protector, I switched out the Spigen tempered glass for FloLab. The difference between the FloLab and Spigen absolutely justifies the higher price of the FloLab. I also switched from my Ultra Hybrid case to the FloLab Surtect case. Such a satisfying combo.

I couldn’t remove mine. I’m glad I didn’t try hard enough. It’s still a great case if you’re not changing cases. I like how it felt on the surface.

For people who don't know, "Full grain" is better than "Genuine". Genuine leather is low grade leather and does not just mean "Real leather"

hearing this is noisey and aluminum rim clangs against the phone and rattles. any truth to this?

Great review Brian! I got my livid green one yesterday. And it’s a great case but you’re right, there’s no strong leather smell. That bums me out. Also your camera control cutout seems more flush than mine. Mine is deep in there where I have to dig in to push it. Which I don’t really care I don’t use it anyway. Just for others to know. I bought this around 4 years ago for my father 12 mini, him it’s a mechanic and he love magnets. When i got my 13 Pro i bought one as well because i loved how my father case looks, now since i upgraded to 16 Pro Max i’m waiting for my new Rokform case to be delivered. I keep coming back to this case even if i have more for 13 Pro. Also they didn’t wear and tear so much, even after 4 years my father case looks like new. It’s on expensive side, it’s heavy but for a daily used phone and if you have a job that it’s not at the office, this case rocks. I dropped my 13 Pro in the kitchen and i cracked one tile, no joke. I don’t use wireless charging but official leather wallet from Apple with this case it’s stuck there, almost impossible to remove by mistake. In UK their accessories are a little bit expensive and not so many like in US. I only use the magsafe car vent holder, still works after 3 years of changing trucks daily.

My 11" closes with case and Magic Keyboard.... didn't know it was an issue on 13"

I been using the case. it's a good case. Only down side is the side of the plastic material is slippery . the slippery material cause not easy to hold the phone and even slip out of the hand during use
