Mine is absolutely amazing but I gotta use mine plugged in with a rolling square in charge foldable mini cable with it attached to the back of my iPhone via mag safe. Heat dissipation is so much better, and I can get a lot of charge out of this thing on my 13 pro max! When I use it with a phone case on with just mag safe, it slow charges and heats up more. Once you use mag safe with the iphone case off, it does reach Qi2 speeds and does better, but the real trick is using a small usb c cable to lightning and attaching it via mag safe to your phone. You can use a case etc and it performs its best and I am so much more happier with this unit this way. I almost returned mine, but now that I’ve figured out the right way to use it, I’m thrilled.
I think that The charger it's only certified to show you the animation even though it acts like it can do 15 Watts
Based on all the reviews I have seen so far on this Anker 5k Qi2, it only does 15W Q2 fast charging when your battery is below 30%, then it revert to the typical Qi speed between 5 and 7.5w
try using it when both phone and the pack at 100 percent as a battery extender
I also would like to see test on both device on 0% and you connect a type c to use pass through
I was wondering if this is supposed to be like apples replacement for the smart battery they used to make. If it's a battery extender, then I'd enjoy it. I love my smart battery and wish I could get a new one
@@MemeCity9099 honestly never understood why magsafe must be wireless, just use cable with the magsafe and we got a fully functional charging system instead of qi2 low efficiency and high heat generating charging
@@lemon9.9 Convenience.
@@equivalentexchangeisalie5726 or we can make MacBook type magsafe instead of wireless. It would be so much better
I had two days took return got the anker 10k beast
Great choice. I love that one.
Would this Magsafe battery pack fit flush on an iPhone 16 Pro Max that has the Arc Pulse on it? Thanks if you see this.
It’ll be right in the edge. Won’t sit completely flush
@@Brians_tech Thanks for the reply. Anker Prime 27,650 power bank it is then!
Thanks for this video. How does this compare with "Belkin BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank 5K" that is available directly from Apple. This also advertises as Qi2 charging up to 15W
Not sure, I'll have to check that one out
I hear it a piece of crap
Good thing I bought the 10k slim version due to insufficient stock of 5k slim. This is so much worse than I expected
The 10k slim is SOOO good!! I use it all the time. Significantly better than this one. Not sure what Anker was thinking with this.
That’s definitely not going to be in my rotation either.
Anker made a useless product? I find it funny when people say only use it when your phone is already fully charged so it depletes the battery then your phone….in not doing that bs
Isn’t that similar to the apple MagSafe battery pack that was discontinued?
My $20 Vention FHN 10k mah wireless charger will give my 16 pro 10% charge in 15mins compared to this garbage. Lmfao.
