I have a Pristine canister that was made in 2011. Tacony really should have stuck with those. Tons of power, great filtration. It’s a great vacuum, I really need to use it more lol. The only Tacony uprights I’m into are the ones with the big dual stage lamb motors in them.
If I had to pick any of the 3 it will be the symmetry but like you said these are not designed to be sealed systems. They are meant to be powerful cleaners. A miele or a sebo would be the best options.
This company keeps coming so close to producing perfect machines but always seems to leave something out. I can't understand why they wouldn't make these sealed system vacuums at these prices. I have the Maytag M500 and I've heard that some that were produced sometimes throw their fans. Why didn't they just augment lock washers in the first place? I don't get it!
Now these vacuums what you are testing aren't cheap. I just can't understand why they let so much dust in to the air. I don't have allergies (that's why I have a Kirby), but for that price point. Well they just don't fare well. Quality control missing :(
My Kirby is like a ornament to be honest. I like it in my collection, but I don't have much real use to it. I like it, but... If you have watched my channel you will know that the Germans (Sebo, Miele, Vorwerk) are my daily drivers.
I think it would be very difficult to fully seal any Tandem Air vacuum. My reasoning is that there is positive and negative pressure in the vacuum due to the push/pull motor setup. This lack of total negative pressure is going to lead to leaks. That is my purely unscientific guess!
I completely agree with you that's why I say by Design it's not sealed. Not everybody needs a sealed HEPA system. But personally it's a feature I could not do without on a daily Driver vacuum.
Performance Reviews I want better filtration in my daily drivers as well... Which is why my house is crawling with Mieles of various generations! Keep up the great work!
Great demo, Simplicity & Riccar make nice machines. What are your opinions on the Cirrus/Prolux uprights that are cheaper (chinese) versions of the symmetry?
I like these videos

Couldn't agree with you more I'll need to release the video on the Riccar pristine I did I love that vacuum
Quick video on the vacuums you recommend that are sealed?
Anything Miele or Nilfisk
@@PerformanceReviews Not Sebo?

Awesome review!!Seems like they could seal the system. Hopefully they will see your review and give to their engineers for an update.
My opinion is purchase a vacuum for its cleaning performance. all vacuums get dirty over time and put out some dust.
There are a lot of vacuums that won't put out dust over time. but clean performances definitely the reason you'd purchase one of these

I know you know this, but for others watching only the R20D has the HEPA. The R20E, R20SC do not.

They definitely do better in the particle test than a Kirby dose. Also the performance is significantly better then a Kirby.

I use my Kirby a few times per month. I have other daily drivers but I'm looking for the right clean air upright.

For such pricy machines you would think they would be a sealed system
