Yeah, only a handful of them though. Bloodboon arrows are fairly easy to craft, but sleep and frost arrows are another story. Stormhawk arrows are your damage option that isn't bloodboon arrows
Igon Drake hunt + Harpoon arrows gets something around a 25% hidden dmg bonus. It out-damages through and through (by quite a bit for same stat investment) on the golem bow even if the AR shows less .
6:05 even from the stat screen you can see that the horn bow isn't a split scaling bow, it didn't even have int scaling for like a year or so of release, it's a dex bow that also gets magic damage and int scaling in exchange for slightly reduced physical damage, This is in contrast with the erdtree bow which is a split scaling dex/faith bow that actually sucks for all the reasons why the horn bow is good, You find it early on, magic damage is good/holy damage is mediocre and the horn bow is still good even if you don't invest in int, whereas the erdtree bow suffers
Igon's is meant for str builds, regular greatbow for quality. And Igon's also buffs Drake Hunt AoW which is better version of Through and Through. It arguably should've been just below regular greatbow ONLY because you get it very late in the DLC.
My issue with Ansbach's Longbow is that the skill eats up arrows super fast and the damage and range aren't really impressive enough to justify it. You might as well just use Scattershot Throw to do similar damage without having to worry about restocking ammo.

Ansbach Bow at #1 makes no real sense due to how the AoW is coded (only 2 of your 8 arrows can ever hit any one target, wasting 6 arrows every time you use the Ash) so for a build looking to do quick ranged status buildup, the Pulley Crossbow is still the best option.
But is better than any other bow basically, it's a medium bow with a good dmg and the moveset of a short bow, plus the aow even with the disadvantages you mentioned, is really good. It's how bows should be

Rusty is overall pretty bad, like the butterflies incantation being the second worst DLC reward, yes, you trade blows, but only one spell slot and normally one cast is enought for that deadly rot, better than the Aeonian flower IMO
Rusty is correct in the technical sense. The skill cannot hit one target with more than two arrows per skill-shot. From that perspective, the skill is a waste of resources against bosses due to this. The theory being that you are sacrificing 6 arrows from every skill-shot in exchange for higher DPS and damage per hit. Rusty is usually more correct on paper, due to him actually taking the time to view the params and such in the back end. From a "feel" perspective, Youwy seems more correct, since he plays the game a lot more.
