The 374s are amazing, especially on a technical level. The speed, capacity, versatility, they've got it all and they are an upgrade in every objective sense over the outgoing 373s. Eurostar and Siemens did a great job there. ...that said, they don't look or sound *nearly* as amazing as the older trains. Also, obviously, they're not nearly as impressive to the public as those old 373s must have been on introduction in 1994. These are great trains, it's just the 373s were, as far as Britain's railways were concerned, gamechangers.

Nice observations of the new class 374 stock on eurostar the accelerations on them is really fast however that last one was very dirty

Well that's because the speed limits in France and Belgium are much higher and there isnt as much bendy track like there is in the UK
