Due to the COVID-19 outbreak I can't get out filming at them moment, so I'm starting a series called 'The Best of:' where I collate the best clips I've taken ordered by traction.

The cooling fan roar is just too beautiful, I cannot imagine never hearing it again...
All of these have been scrapped already?
@@TMIX_TEAM - There are eight left, temporarily out of service due to COVID. Powercars 3308, 3106 and 3304 have been preserved, 3308 is at National Railway Museum in York, 3106 for Trainworld Schaerbeek in Belgium, with an first class coach, and the 3304 also preserved with an first class coach, this one at The One:One Collection in Margate.

@@TMIX_TEAM - No problem! Travelling with them is even better, coaches 1 and 18 are the best coaches to sit in, cause those two coaches are powered, so you could hear the beautiful traction motors.
@@AutoslaapExpress Yes if i went there i will sit in a powercar. And one quiestion: the refurbished sets will be scrapped in the future?
Some of the most stunning and breath-taking (looks, sound and performance-wise) trains ever to run on our railways. Definitely a shame to see them going.

I love the sound these 373 trains make as they pass by at high speed!
I love how they redrawn the beautiful class 373s and refurbished them so some are still in service and that the class 374 aren't the only ones in service :D

374s don't have that distinct passing sound like the 373s.

Not all of them are being replaced. Only the ones in the poorer condition are being replaced and scrapped. The refurbished ones are here to stay

That sound, its just amazing, its difficult to describe as what it sounds like.. but i am here just for that sound.. eee..eee..eee

The last time I was on the Class 373 (e300) Eurostar was going from London St Pancras to Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy Disneyland Paris and back 3 days later.
I love the sound of a 373 washing by.. The e320 doesn't sound as. Nice

@@slovakballmapper we only talking about trains in britain plus the shinkansen top speed(not including maglev) is 320kmh/200mph same speed as the 374.

Yeah Iv been trying to prove this theory for over 14 years. I'd love to know where this is and if it's only on a neutral section. Or HS1 to CTRL overhead height adjustment. Sorry to barge in.

Hate seeing these getting scrapped. These are by far my most favourite trains. They look and sound so nice. Don't like the new ones...
