After 3 seasons, we’re finally brought to this moment. Knowing what his comic counterpart was like, I’m glad A-Train got the growth he needed in the show
he really wasn't forced to save him during the skate chase ,at risk, even. the save that were not bounded by favour or anything shows some genuine superhero work there
A-Train is just getting tired of this shit. He wants to redeem himself for all the carnage he brought. Even when Homelander told them to beat those fans to death, all what A-Train did is stopped one of them so Black Noir could finish him. He didn't even took part in it.
Yes, he was genuinely disgusted with himself that he let it happen. In an earlier scene he’s fed up with the bullshit movie Vought is trying to make, lying to his nephews. Yes, He could’ve got Todd out of there but he hesitated because he was afraid of Homelander killing him m, any person would be, he was put in a very tough position. He made up for it by risking his life to try and save Hughie’s Dad
Reggie/A-Train took Robin from Hughie. That was unforgivable, yet Hughie had the good goddamn human grace to forgive him. He didn’t want to become like Butcher, and spend the rest of his life hating and wanting to kill A-Train, when he as every right to. That makes him the most human and real character in the show I think Reggie thought back to not being able to save his brother from being hurt and saw the chance to save Hughie’s dad and took it. He’s far from being a good person but it doesn’t mean he’s far from being any less human

Strong in his character, he has morals and at least tries to be a good person. When he says he forgave A-train, because he doesn't want to hate the rate of his life, that shows he has a good heart. I do not believe he truly forgives A-train, but rather is ready to stop holding his mistake against him as leverage. (Even though he rightfully could a little while longer) A-train on the other hand, has finally grown a conscience. After multiple people have beat him over the head, it finally sunk in. He's a bad person, he finally accepted it. But now, he's trying to do better, so he can stop feeling like such a piece of shit. Which is a good thing, he wants to change

The writter’s of this show have been doing a really good job on making us sympathize with A-Train , he’s having one hell of a character development. He has done bad thing’s and i can completely understand the reason why Huighie , Annie and his brother are being so mean cause he has it coming for making all of those mistake’s he made , but A-Train is not to far gone cause he does feel guilty about the thing’s he did and want’s to be better , im pretty sure that when the show come’s to the final season , he’s going to help The Boys kill Homelander and the Vought member’s , maybe hell die fighting Homelander , or maybe he will also live and fix his relationship with his brother and will become a better uncle for his nephew’s. Despite how A-Train’s story end’s , one thing for sure is that he will redeem himself.

A-Train doesn't deserve forgiveness or redemption. Robin's dead and he's not because he was a junkie. Worse yet, he only started to feel grief when all of his misdeeds started coming home to roost.
Forgiveness is definitely up to the victims yeah, but redemption- the decision to stop and be better- is not about “deserving it,” either you decide to change yourself or not. Maybe your victims forgive you, maybe they never do, maybe the consequences of your choices catch up to you, but you can always choose to be better regardless. A-Train was late to the game, but unfortunately yeah sometimes it does take your decisions affecting yourself to change. But it’s nice that the change is happening at all.
Well back in the first episode a train ran her over when she wasn't even that far from the pavement. So the whole thing could've been prevented if train just looked where he was going. (Side note: I honestly have no idea why a train would just ran past her without looking maybe it was the high or his power works but that's just one of the things that's confusing to me)

I hope A-Train makes it to the end, but, I don’t think very many will. Especially if it starts following the comics at the end.
