I love PIKE!! If there are BIG Walleye in the lake, there are BIG Pike too :) OR USUALLY! haha Keep crushing it yourself man! You are a weapon out there!
My arms are tired watchin you. That Cousin Itt lure is awesome tee hee. Just cuz .... One time in AB I chanced to meet an elder fishing from a blue pontoon with 'the Office' written in white on the side. We got to talking and he told me, "Some people go to church and talk about going fishing. I go fishing and think about God" The outdoors is so healing.❤️
Do you ever go Musky fishing? Might be a fun new series for you to film, especially in the fall. I've learned so much from you on a lot of other species and it would be interesting to hear what you know about Musky!! Thank you CSO!!!
Very nice pike. 43" is a trophy. Pike season is coming up soon for us down here on Lake Michigan in the harbors. Trying to beat my personal best of 42". Great video. Keep up the good work.
Love the pike vids bud. What a hog. Good to see ya back. Was a little worried.. not gonna lie but totally understand now and humbled by you. Cheers and thank you.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors that would be greatly appreciated! I’ve been getting more into pike fishing this last year and am looking into getting a dedicated setup for them. Would love to hear what you recommend!
I always enjoy watching coming from the uncut generation. Always do jealous I'm in Central Illinois my biggest Pike is 40 took years lol and that was only 5 pounds from the record lol
Clayton, I did a quick search for your mouse lure and found that it's called the Miuras Mouse. If someone looks for mouse lure, they won't find it. Interesting looking lure.
Clayton: Just got to thinking that if you're looking for a similar lure to your mouse lure, do a Google search for the Baby Beaver muskie lure and see what you think. Cheers.
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors I left a second message saying that if you're looking for a similar lure to your mouse, you should do a Google search for ____ (lure name). I don't see that message now. I hope I didn't make an etiquette goof by mentioning the other lure. I was only trying to help, in case you have trouble buying more mouse lures. That's what fishermen do, try and help other fishermen. I wasn't trying to take sales away from your mouse lure if you're sponsored by the mouse lure company.
You make it look so easy Clayton. I'm in Alberta and my personal best is 40 inches. Still made my year. I can't imagine what its like to catch more than one big pike on a given day
clayton is there any way you can list out what i need to order for so i can get set up for ice fishing i just want to get the right live scope set up. what unit and transducer i need .I will order the arc case and pole .hope this makes sense and where is the best place to get a good price . Thank you Cary
Hey Man! I will try to answer your questions here for you: For a Unit I recommend the Garmin Echo Map (You will want at least a 10" screen IMO) For the transducer you should get the LVS 34 You will want a good sized battery, I recommend a 48ah to be able to get a FULL day out of the unit. As far as places to get I do not know the best answer for that :( Sometimes you can find a good sale on the Echo Map units though, but the livescope itself usually doesn't have sales. I see in another comment you mentioned the 9" screen, and for JUST ice fishing you will be good with that, but if you are going to open water fish at all you will be happier with a 10" screen.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors thank you so much that's what i wanted to know , does the arc caddy hold a 48ah battery and yes i will take your advise and get the 10 inch screen again you are the best we watch all your video's

@@CaryArcher-p7v Hey Cary, I'm not Clayton, but I have the Ultra 106sv with the LVS 34 and run the arclab caddy with a 52ah Amped Lithium outdoors. It works great! I have fished 2.5 straight days and have yet to see it run out of juice.
You are right! I think I talked about this at one point, but the words like Giant, Big, Huge, ETC are only relevant you each individual case, and also body of water you are fishing if that makes sense.
Leave it to Clayton!! Wish we had more big pike lakes around here. That is so wild! Keep it up 👊

How deep was the water you were fishing, and how deep was the mouse lure running? Thanks for the info.
Was about 4-5 feet and the Mouse was running about 6" below the surface :)
