The composition is actually by Paul Desmond, sax player from Dave Brubeck's band. Great lesson, dig it!

These are excellent lessons, and I love that your dog is always there with you. At 2:30, just as you finish the piece, dog does an eye roll as if to say "big deal. I can do that." :)

Being a huge Chet fan I can’t believe I’m saying this but...In my opinion, you play it better than Chet. His arrangement is fantastic but I’ve never really thought this was his best performance. The original sax lines were the ultimate in smooth. Chet sounds uncharacteristically stiff in those parts whereas you play those sections much more fluidly like the original sax. Well done.

Pro tip: If you're playing this song (or any song) with a saxophone, tune a half step down. Saxes are tuned in Eb, so keys with lots of naturals and sharps are tough for a sax - that's E, A, D, G, C, all the keys that are easy on guitar. Tune your guitar a half step down and sax players will love you!

Congratulations and thanks Assaf on another excellent lesson on an old jazz standard that I've loved since I first heard it. Maintaining that 5/4 rhythm is an exercise in concentration itself. However, i've just added this piece to my "must learn soon list" Thankfully you didn't include how to do the drum solo on the back of your guitar!
